The one stat that needs changing …. Davies has had more touches than Brewster…

If we insist on moving the ball right to left it has to be quicker as we are so slow teams just shuffle across with ease. (Same with the first team too)

We don’t take risks like trying to take players on or hit space in behind.

And this was a trait last time under wilder … robotic players passing the ball instead of expressing themselves

Dreadful half of football
Fuck me, is your day job an undertaker.

Not dreadful, but not great.

Neither side has been significantly threatening. We've just, held one another at arms length for 45 mins.

Gutted for Brewster. Seems like he wasn't expecting the cross from JRS, so had to stretch for it. Needs to be on his toes, and expect that cross. He needs to he the man on the spot to turn that chance in.

They've not really worried me. One decent save from Davies, but it's a fairly routine stop that one.

I wouldn't expect much more than what we've had out of a team completely changed from Saturday, within which there are a few who haven't really played with one another before (Rak-Sakyi, RND, McCallum).

Look forward to seeing what we do 2nd half. Think we've for sure got another gear to take this game away from them.

I do like the early our young players knock the ball around comfortably, it was the same with Wrexham. Shows they have been well coached, hope our first team can pick that habit up a bit.

Nope 👎 I just like to talk facts….others don’t…

In context yes 11 changes, young lads, fringe players etc.

But basics not being done and we pose very little attacking threat.

The early signs are there across all games so far in that we have no clue what to do in final third

Well I thought quite a lot of our players were very poor with the ball.
All have given it away cheaply, and a stark contrast to the previous round where many of the young lads had a positive impact, all have looked nervy and a little negative.
Marsh wanting too many touches.
Sampson weak and lacking any composure.
Sachdev reluctant to push on and get some crosses in.
Peck a shadow of his last game, less energy and more over hit and mis guided passes in that half than he did the full game v Wrexham.
Most worrying, the experienced Anel and RND been little better. Anel looking lethargic and uninterested while RND passing all over the place while defensively also poor.
Rek Sayki also looks nervy but by far the best on the pitch for us but inconsistent.
Coulibali been missing for large parts, and all over the place.

Huge improvement needed by these lads to make the team Saturday.

I honestly can't see any future at the lane for coulibaly, it's not like he's a new signing, ok he's been on loan a lot but he's not confident on the ball and he's constantly giving the ball away

We've scored from outside the area in every league game this season.

4 in total.

Arblaster v Preston
Hamer v Preston
Hamer v QPR
Arblaster v Norwich
Which kinda undermines the original post I was replying to but the likelihood of scoring from such positions is why across football they are rarer

He has too make changes, same as QPR game when was clear to everyone that another goal was coming unless he made changes

Well this shows the strength in depth we have. Still need 3 or 4 incomings and the kids need to be loaned out to get some first team experience at a lower level.

Change of personnel is fine, but it's failed to address the big issue.

We've got nothing in the middle of the park.

Peck is having to do the job, effectively, of 3 men. Coulibaly is poor again, and we need a 3rd CM to help us win back and control possession.

It looks like Brewster has dropped deeper. I'd take him off at this point, and put Souza on. Also take Coulibaly off for Hamer, and see if we can take control.

Why cant he take the competition a little more seriously.......
He knew we sold 5k ........Why not send a team out capable of putting these fuckers to the sword ...then let youngsters have a run around
exactly hes disrespected 5k blades and barnsley here yes make 4/5 changes but not 11

The best comment make about this performance is that the starting 11 picks itself for Saturday

Which is a big problem for us this season
