Couldn't disagree more mate.

Blackwell learned nothing from our two previous games against Burnley that season and Ward's petulance in particular was pathetic.

Never a penalty on Kyle imho seeing it from a very good angle.

We deserved nothing that day.
we will have to agree to disagree on this one davalon nailed on penalty kyle had his legs taken from under him but your correct about blackwell and we were awful that day lucky to get away with only a 1 goal defeat

Agree, his league debut against Swansea is still the best debut I have seen since I started watching the Blades regularly in January 1970.
I agree walker from the first match was class Second best start to a career has been Ollie Arblaster hope he progresses as well as Kyle but with the Blades

I was there, Davison didnt even play for 90 mins that night. Very good debut, scored twice but Walker did more v Swansea than Davison did v Wendy.

Davison won us a derby against that lot, so I simply can't see past that.

Sorry Silent Blade , but in terms of outcomes, Bobby Davison wins it hands down.

Walker is a defender, made many interceptions to stop Swansea getting goal scoring chances also on many occasions started build ups to create scoring chances. Played so well for 90 minutes.

Davison was a striker who happened to be at the right place and the right time twice to score these two goals. What else did he make big contributions for the rest of the match before he got subbed? A memorable debut and one of the best debuts I have seen.

I suppose the average football fan remember strikers scoring goals, giving them their votes for man of the match and not noticing the contributions made by the defenders.

Yes, beating Wendy is a bigger scalp than beating Swansea but when it comes to making votes for the man of the match I prefer to judge every player that played for us in the match before making the decision.

Aĺ us beet days are with City, obviously, but if he's so keen I'd offer him a deal next season on £20k pw, he doesn't need the money and we could maybe get 2 years out of him

Contract runs till 2026 with city. Would take him in a heartbeat though even at that age.

Surely this is his last season? Win the league, champions league and then released on a mutual as we get back to the premier league.

Perhaps there’s a reason we’ve only got Gilchrist on a loan and trying to move Anel on…..

With the amount of kids he has we could have a new team of Walkers in a few years.

2 of his boys are really good footballers.

One is in the Man City Academy but the best one is currently at Burnley’s Academy.

I am on the side of Silent Blade here, sorry. I was there at the sty & it was an incredible moment, one of the best I have experienced live. I think strikers can get away with murder sometimes yet still get awards for a few tap ins, look at Harland for example, world class finisher but I would argue not a brilliant footballer. Yes I know being in the right place at the right time is a skill in itself, there we go.

And anyway, TC's debut against Spuds was amazing, possibly the best of all imo.

Can stay were he is for me .....If he wanted to give us any meaningful time , he should have signed last season while he was still at it ..
Great player Terrible Human
Have you heard what he's said about rejoining us? Or are you just reacting angrily for no reason

No way he moves to us before the World Cup. He won’t get in the england squad playing for us.
He can have a holiday whenever he likes, don't think he needs the WC for that.

No I haven't , I'm not interested in what he says....
"Washed up old promises former club he may / may not ...grace them with his presence once more ........
And we are supposed to be grateful 😀😅🤣
They are only interested in one thing £££

And it's not an angry reaction it's just the way I feel ....we shouldn't be going to any one with the begging bowl out .
WE ARE SHEFFIELD UNITED WE ARE BIGGER THAN KYLE WALKER ....

Last year he publicly said that he was waiting all transfer window for Blades to make him an offer.

It's up to him to make the offer,

"Hey Chris, do us a favour and sign me so that I can finish my career at my boyhood club, I'll play for the average wage you pay everyone else"

He's an unbelievably good player and is clearly a Sheffield United fan. However, I don't see this deal ever happening. Even when he turns 37 there will still be teams offering him 40-50k a week. If he really wanted to come he would have to drop to 15-20k (and that would be very expensive for us). I just can't see him doing that

He’s loaded. His eventual move from City won’t be down to wages.
