Best no. 17 since 1999

I voted Monty 1st. I thought Jags best spell was just after this
2nd Creswell
3rd Katchouro

Voted Creswell although would've voted Jags. Some of Jagielkas best games were in the 17 shirt (Leeds in cup for example)

What if the player who gets in from this vote as lucky loser isn't as good as the player the actual winner beat to get in through the other number? There should be a play off to decide the winner shirley?

Cresswell, Jags is sorted elsewhere.

Monty for nightmare 11.

Katchouro, just because he was my favourite player as a kid and it's his only chance of getting in the dream team.

His final season in England saw him score three goals in 30 appearances as the Blades woeful start condemned them to a 16th place finish, as Neil Warnock replaced Adrian Heath as manager in early December and rescued the Blades from relegation.

Given this was the season we are being polled on how on earth could anyone vote for him during that spell? His ace season was 1996/7 season two years before the poll.

I'm voting for Ernest Needham.

Jags
Katchouro
Bromby

Jags came of age in the shirt (hopefully not in a David Mellor way) and 2nd half of 2002-3 onward was a legend. That said I can still remember him being pretty anonymous when thrown into midfield in his early days. My vocal chords are still scarred from his 35 yard belter against Leeds (along with my shins from Nuddy's winner, getting piled over the seats in H-block).

Loved Katchouro and thought Bromby was excellent value. I happened to think Monty did some of his best work in the years before we got to the prem, so perhaps a bit harsh on him here.

Surely not Katchoruo. He was fat and crap by then. He had one decent season under Kendal, but then was rubbi9sh afterwards. This is the problem with this poll (it's not numpty proof) as I am sure that people are voting for the Kat's performances prior to having squad numbers. He was good in 1996/1997, but that's not enough for me to vote for him.

Cressy for me. He worked hard and offered quite a lot. He was excellent when he came in on loan. He just had this knack of being in the right place at the right time. He struggle a bit as he got older, but he always put a shift in. More to it, he played well along side Evans. In the season when we should have gone up Cresswell did well.

The years all blend in to one for me once I'd started work in the mid-90s. Seeing @BladeFisher's post too probably means I should rejig my top 3 - but much like mine and Katchouro's attitude for most of 1999, I can't be arsed.
