I don't know, personally don't see an issue with both CB's being right footed in a 4 then there are a lot more options

We could play Gilcrest and Soutter as the CBs and buy a new RB as the Anel 'replacement'? Then we'd also have Trusty and Robbo as backup CBs (as others have mentioned, it's not as vital that CBs in a back 4 have a preferred foot)

True but I’m still struggling with the Souttar scenario.

Leicester spent 13m on him. Surely our pitch wasn’t “see that Anel Ahmedhodzic? You can learn a lot from sitting on the bench watching him!”

He must have been told Anel will be in the shop window and then pissing off before end August and you’ll then be first pick.

Otherwise why would he be so keen to just benchwarmer back in the Championship than in the Prem.

This is the problem with Worrall too. If we are wedded to a right footer and a left footer then the best you’re getting is someone like Gilchrist as a back up and Souttar as first pick. Souttar hasn’t come to be back up and neither would Worrall.

And neither has Gilchrist , but he doesn't look much as yet

Genuine question , was Shackleton intended to be our first choice RB ?
Is Seriki seen as adequate cover ?
If Yes to both , then we won't buy a RB.

Obviously I have no idea about the intentions of Wilder, but I was under the impression Shackleton was more of an 'Osborn' type utility player who could cover a number of roles in midfield and full back (but not really first choice in any position (similar to Osborn). As for Seriki, I've honestly not seen enough of him to judge but would probably (for me) fall into the 'cover' category as well (to be blooded in through the season) rather than first choice (though it'd be great if he came in and cemented his place)

I already have, I think he's awful. I think the fee was £5m but I reckon there's a chance to get £2m or so back from some other sucker.

Forest wanted £4 million fee for Worrall, which we probably didn’t have - hence the loan for Souttar, which for me is a good deal. I just want to see Wilder play him !!!!
