If Palace ever want to sign any of our players we should add an extra 5m for them beimg robbing bastards.
Off topic slightly, but I can’t think of anyone who has gone from us directly to Palace. We’ve had a few the other way, but I’m struggling to think of any the opposite.

I’m excited for him but 4m for a player who only ever played at L1 and above and a loan is crazy. Not slagging off the club but just an observation of how crazy the game has become

Chelsea must’ve made a fortune from the amount of players they loan every season.

It's a lot of money, but getting promoted is expensive, but potentially very lucrative.

Hopefully he's as good as his showreel and all the hype. Fingers Xd he is.

Can see your point but that kind of shows how highly rated he is.
He stands out from most other wingers because he can also score goals.
As mentioned by someone else he's potentially a "cheat code" in this division.
I suppose we'll see, could be another Ben Woodburn ha ha

Yes because Palace know they can call the shots......
There's so much interest from so many clubs so they hold the power in this.
Totally agree, but find it a little annoying we are dictated to by bloody Palace. Just hope that sometime in the future we can hold a gun to their head. Non the less, he is a bloody good player.

Rak-Sakyi set to complete Sheff Utd move

Latest from Sky Sports News' Lyall Thomas:
Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is set to complete his loan move to Sheffield United.
The deal went through before the midday registration deadline making him eligible to feature this weekend against QPR. He will train with the squad today.
The 21-year-old completed a medical this week but the move was held up by last-minute negotiations between the clubs.

4mill if we get promoted will be a worthwhile investment

I hope it's not as simple as an extra £2m if we're promoted and is structured around JRS's contribution (no. appearances, goals, assists etc.).

I don't know what previous loans have cost us, Henderson, MGW, McAtee, Doyle etc. but it does feel on the lumpy side for a player that hasn't proven himself at this level.

Inclined to trust in Wilder though as his recruitment has been fantastic this Summer and I'm delighted we've brought in a 'bums off seat' type player.

If we can bring in a couple of CFs and then either a LW or a CM (Hamer can play both, so one more should do it) then I think we'll be about there in terms of having a squad capable of going the distance.

We can't go with what we've got up top though.
Campbell & Brewster have had their injury worries and Moore is 32 and will take a battering.

Yeesh so the loan was originally 1 mill + 1 mill if promoted.

Now it's 2 mill minimum + 2 mill if promoted.

So the minimum loan fee for Jes is the same we paid for Cooper on a permanent lol
Anyone really believe that? Doubt very much Palace tried to double their money after all had been agreed.

Sorry, but no.

Someone is playing to a narrative there.

This lad needs that typical Sheff United treatment. I'm sure I'm very biased and I just won't notice it at other clubs but quite often, specially in Wilders teams you notice a very strong team spirit where the lads are playing for the club and each other. Last season we just did not have that.

It's no coincidence the likes of McB, MGW, Illi, Henderson, Macatee and of course all the veterans in the ones that have recently left us all clearly enjoyed being part of the club.

If we can catch that team spirit, love of the club and put in the effort that team this season should be looking at Autos if you ask me.
