Stepped up our interest apparently?

Is this why we may have not signed Dozzell?

For some reason I thought he’d gone back to Southampton. Either way I can’t see him coming here

No, probably more likely we just couldn't afford Dozzell!

"This gives Sheffield United the opportunity to come in for the player and it’s claimed they have entered into negotiations for him. The Englishman is said to be keen to return to his home country and had an injury impacted debut season in Turkey."

Gerrimin physio room.

One of the most injured players in the history of the PL...

Fits right in here.

If he signs for us, his season can go one of two ways. He'll spend most of the time injured, with the odd cameo as a sub. Or, spend alot of time injured and maybe 1 cameo appearance on the last game of the season.

Is any good now? 30 is not too old.

Anyone know what he's like now?

My worry is this is a sign were selling a midfielder, hes hardly gonna come to back up someone and replacing a young permanent asset (Hamer,Arblaster even Souza) with a 30 year old loan aint long term thinking

We didn’t really have that much midfield quality on the bench last night so I wouldn’t personally jump to that conclusion.

If he could stay fit he’d be a decent signing, but that’s unlikely.

Be a very weird move and would likely mean one of Hamer or Souza is leaving.
Not sure how he fits into what we're doing otherwise.

I kind of hope this is wrong. It's a very expensive loan deal when we could probably bring in someone like Kenny McLean or Matt Grimes (rumoured earlier in the window) on a permanent deal and at least have the position covered next season.

Surprised this has resurfaced, seemed to have gone quiet for weeks.

That being said, wages aside it wouldn't be a bad signing and might allow us to send Marsh or Peck out on loan and get them playing regularly.

No one in their right mind is selling a player from the starting eleven and replacing him with Oxlade-Chamberlain!
