I'm excited that there's no VAR.

Superb. The ref at the ground, makes all the decisions in real time. Everyone knows where they stand.

Yeah, agree about no VAR, but have we forgotten how shit the officials are in the Championship? Must be 10 wrong decisions at least in first 30 minutes . Not biased, just incorrect. Chelsea, Palace, Bournemouth, Manure would be in meltdown for not getting fingertip fallover fouls.

I don't know why the sound and video are not checked and double checked well before the game seems so simple to do.A bit amateurish

On 34 minutes Preston have their first chance, ball played in to a crowded area, ricochet's into the air.
Ahnedhdizic tries to head it but their player has his foot really high, so Ahnedhodzic pulls out to prevent being booted in the face.
Their player tried a snap shot from the penalty spot area but doesn't connect properly and it's gently goes to towards our goal for an easy save.
Think if it has gone in.....maybe the ref would have disallowed it for a high boot.

On 38 minutes PNE come close to scoring, a last ditch tackle to snuff out a shot from close range.

Overall we still look the more likely team to score.
Been impressed with our general performance, we look fitter and more skilful than them.
Particularly impressed with O'Hares close control, it means you can pass the ball to him even when he's marked up.

I think we’re looking fantastic - 100mph compared to PNE. They haven’t had a sniff and it reminds me of the gulf between Championship and PL. no VAR, some wrong decisions but so what? Tackles flying in, nobody looking like they’ve been shot, I’m loving it!

Thought Brooks has looked pretty decent considering he's out of position. Really lively.

We look much more Sheffield United. Proper energy and tempo. A bit too much tempo if anything, it was exhausting to watch! If we carry on in that vein all season though, it certainly won't be boring.

If Hamer wasn't having such a mare, we'd have been a few more up there. He's been suckered in to the million miles per hour pace of the game a bit. He'll be quality though this season.

For most part dominated the game.

Moore for a big fella seems to be losing alot of his aerial duels, is he 100% fit?

Brooks (and to some extent Hamer) frustrating me tho and shows the need for real wingers.

Souza probably best player of the half.. excluding shot at the end lol.

Tough one to call … first 45 mins of competitive football.

Some good some bad

Look really good in transition after winning ball back.

Not so good building play.

Midfield is very lightweight.

Moore hasn’t won a single personal battle and brooks has been very poor

Thought Brooks has looked pretty decent considering he's out of position. Really lively.

Think a clinical player takes or creates more from the positions he was in. Yes he led to the goal but in a scrappy way. Actually seeing goal back that wasn't the scrappy bit he was involved in!

Moore is a boring Mcburnie
