Lack of Leaders

Another problem I've observed recently within our squad (and Manager) is the clear lack of leadership. When we go a goal down, the heads drop and there is no conviction to come back and get something from games. In the past we've been spoilt with leaders; Morgan (Vocal, Physical), Montgomery (Infectious workrate), Jagielka (by Example) and Gary Speed asserted respect by just being Gary Speed. Even Kozluk was an understated positive influence at the club.

Maguire is not a leader, he is clumsy. Doyle is not a leader, he is that whinging influence who rollicks everybody around him despite setting a terrible example and Collins seems a bit too meek and too fraught in confidence to be taken seriously.

I'd like to see us go into the January transfer window and sign someone who can do this job for us straightaway.

We've got the cheapest deep mined coal best coach in this league, our workers footballers no longer play Tory hoofball but proper football where the ball is mined played on the ground not some whimsical dash for gas kick and rush policy as advocated by the Coal Board some of our supporters who want to see results.
