I think Trigger is running our club at the momentWe may have agreed a deal for him but that doesn't mean anything when it comes to Sheffield United. Just add him to the list of players we're wasting the time of. We won't pull the trigger

Swiss- we are paying decent wages, we offered O’Hare the most to get him here. Imagine there is only Leeds and maybe Burnley paying more than we are. Of course it’s all offset by the savings on the wages on those we released which were substantial to say the least!Cheers for the info and hope this is true that he’s joining us.
Not sure the wages we pay are huge, we certainly won’t be paying the top wages in the league, which is why we’ve lost a few players and perhaps will lose more. But as you say, the disparity between our financial capability and yours is clearly a factor.
As you say though, his thoughts will also be on the expectations at both clubs, despite what our fans think, our club will be hoping to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking, tough task currently with the team and squad depth we have but players like Cooper are the right level of ambition to push us forward again
We can let you have Grbic if you want?![]()
How dare you. Comparing a wheelie bin to grbic.. that’s an insult on a wheelie bin!Fuck me, a fucking wheelie bin could provide competition to Grbic
But what if it's Burrows, Cooper, Worrall, Souttar, Bowler and Campbell doing some kind of love train/Bewitched "Rollercoaster" dance - at the end revealing John Textor behind them in a Blades shirt, while literally eating £50 notes from a cereal bowl?
THEN can we all relax and have fun?
Both are full of shit though. How dare you. Comparing a wheelie bin to grbic.. that’s an insult on a wheelie bin!
Most of us thought it was a late April Fool's gag when we appointed Rooney, but our owner is one of the smarter, more calculated individuals in football and when he explained his reasoning it allayed a few fears.Appreciate you taking the for the information, as an aside what is the general feeling of the Plymouth fans regarding your new manager
With our budget we'll once again do well to stay up. Our turnover is around mid-table but our owner refuses to replicate the madness going on elsewhere in the division by spending more than we can afford. Until we find new investment we'll continue to tread water.GreenArmy how’s your chances this season and is Whittaker top end? Asking for a friend
Good point: a wheelie bin placed in the middle of the goal probably would have stopped that Harrogate shot on Tuesday.Fuck me, a fucking wheelie bin could provide competition to Grbic
Let’s send them something more useful than him.
Typhoid perhaps…..
Nope. We'd still need a right back...But what if it's Burrows, Cooper, Worrall, Souttar, Bowler and Campbell doing some kind of love train/Bewitched "Rollercoaster" dance - at the end revealing John Textor behind them in a Blades shirt, while literally eating £50 notes from a cereal bowl?

Exactly and that's why we have a real opportunity to change the whole structure of the team. The wages of Norwood, Egan, Basham, McB, Fleck et al were massive and we aree getting a big upgrade on players for ultimately a lower wage billSwiss- we are paying decent wages, we offered O’Hare the most to get him here. The same Peterborough chairman that’s said the burrows deal is done?Ditto the Burrows deal for this one too. I reckon we have been making bids without having the money in place to go through with these deals. 2 weeks to go & other clubs also need to move forward. This day was always going to come. If this deal & the Burrows deal are dead I can imagine Plymouth & Peterborough will be well cheesed off. Can’t wait for the Peterborough chairman’s comments!
If you need a replacement we've got a Croatian international you can have !!!Argyle fan here. This has pretty much been confirmed by our ITKs and I'm absolutely gutted. We made Coops an offer that would have made him the highest paid player in our history but you've blown us out of the water with the four-year deal you've offered, which just goes to show the financial disparity in this league.
You're getting a quality keeper who can go all the way to the top. He isn't the tallest (which is probably why he hasn't been snapped up already), but pretty much all other areas of his game are top drawer - particularly his distribution.
There is some doubt over his knees but honestly I don't think it'll be a problem. It took him a while to get back to his best after he did his ACL (thanks to that dirty bastard Windass), and then suffered a less serious injury in his other knee that kept him out for a couple of months. But when he came back from that he was absolute quality for the rest of the season and statistically one of the best keepers in the Champ.
Apparently he had two offers from Prem clubs to go and be a No.2 and it says a lot about him that he'd rather stay in the Championship and play regular football. I hope you guys go up because Coops deserves to be a Premier League keeper and I hope it happens for him sooner rather than later.
Congrats on a great signing.
Friday?Ditto the Burrows deal for this one too. I reckon we have been making bids without having the money in place to go through with these deals. 2 weeks to go & other clubs also need to move forward. This day was always going to come.
How do you know that ?Thanks for the info mate….but far from done yet as we have no money for transfers until our takeover goes through.
Totally agree some quality players younger and alot of potential. Lower wagers and actually will be under contract for a fair few years. Good buisnessExactly and that's why we have a real opportunity to change the whole structure of the team. Nail down the keeper and centre backxand it will have been a good windowTotally agree some quality players younger and alot of potential. Lower wagers and actually will be under contract for a fair few years. Good buisness
WUEDP ?But what if it's Burrows, Cooper, Worrall, Souttar, Bowler and Campbell doing some kind of love train/Bewitched "Rollercoaster" dance - at the end revealing John Textor behind them in a Blades shirt, while literally eating £50 notes from a cereal bowl?

Still only got 2 strikers & 3 wingers. We can use the loan & free market for that though.Nail down the keeper and centre backxand it will have been a good window
Same source as Hal.WUEDP ?
Yeah can agree with would like a few more in like but with how much its been a struggle I'd just like to get the main positions inNail down the keeper and centre backxand it will have been a good window
Oh !Not remotely ITK but heard from a good friend today that we’ve agreed a fee, including payment structure and add-ons, player has agreed personal terms and has passed his medical today and signed. We’ve just no available bandwidth as internet has been disconnected because old owners thought new owners had taken over direct debit on super fast fibre optic broadband but new owners won’t provide payment details to BT until old owners specify a date for new owners to take charge
Can't work out if this is real or a pisstake after today.
