Again I'd agree with that, but I think we are at the start of something which could be a total change of ethos and way forward for United. I like the fact we are looking to buy good young technically able players, I like the fact we are looking at possession based style. I don't expect automatic promotion this season, and therefore I don't think giving the manager a lot longer is a problem before having to make a decision about his continued role at the club.
I don't think anyone would have a problem with the permanent signings made, both are good players who are better than our current level. We just need more to compliment them.
By keeping a failing manager shows weak leadership, just because we have chopped and changed doesn't mean we should keep a shit manager who appears to have lost the dressing room already
"appears to have lost the dressing room"
Everytime.
you always appear to know better Bob, no change there
I just think it's when players who are on the pitch play rubbish, go out on the lash, basically take the mick out of those that support them and their lifestyle are somehow not responsible at all for the results; "lost the changing room" signals to me that there's a bunch of prima-donnas who think they should do what they want, when they want or they behave like children, and all of that, is the managers fault for losing them.
Players need to take responsibility too.
I don't want to defend him, I just think the bandwagon is rolling and plenty are happy to pile on it and twist the knife mainly due to be being short sighted and wanting instant positive results.Bob you seem like you want to defend him ,what do you think his ethos is ,how we are playing ?
We lose nothing by keeping him in the role until at least the new year.
If true, that some of the players aren't taking their careers or the club seriously. Therefore the manager has a big job on his hands and needs replacements.Fully agree with your last sentence. When you have players out on a Friday night who were in the team last saturday and your manager blaming the players on the Saturday what does that tell you?
If true, that some of the players aren't taking their careers or the club seriously. Therefore the manager has a big job on his hands and needs replacements.
Presumably we're seeing the movement from the front man but these players not optioning to play that killer pass because it would be against the managers wishes?
OR
Is the movement not there, therefore there is no other option.
The players who are letting him down should be training with the stiffs. Bringing Porter in and out shows he doesn't have control for me. Players see mixed messages and then there are players who under perform every week who are untouchable
he doesn't have the players......for fucks sake.So change it
For fucks sake Wier can't or won't
Isn't that what is happening with certain players not being included in the match day squad?
Problem is we don't have the options to replace them with adequate talent, hence Ironside starting.

How many windows has he had?Quite correct, he always seems to be short of a forward or two
I think I've already said, I believe the a forward, making the right runs would make a huge difference. He has brought 8 players in, how many does he need to get us out of the relegation zone
How many windows has he had?
I'm sure we tried to sign at least one before the window shut and we will bring one in onloan once we'll get to keep them till Jan.
Unfortunately I can't run the channels.I have to admit, Bob's putting up a good fight in what appears to be a losing battle. More of a battle than the boys put up.
You go Bob!
I think I've already said, I believe the a forward, making the right runs would make a huge difference.
I think we'll know where we are once he's had chance to bring in replacements via the loan window.Do you honestly think he should be given till January? Can I ask when enough is enough for you?
An unproven 23 year old from Falkirk. No I think he was a calculated risk on a young player who may still come good.Is he not the guy who brought in Taylor for that? come on now Bob
