The blurb on the announcement suggests the yellow trim is a nod to the 1990-92 away shirt. So expect the 3rd will be yellow?

Why on Earth would a home kit need some trim to nod to an old Away kit? Just make the Away kit yellow and that’s all the nodding done.

Think I’ve sussed it. The bottom hem - being so big - was in fact the collar but the folk in the sweatshop didn’t get the memo. Sewed it on the bottom and were then left confused when there was no collar to sew on. Ended up using the leftovers from the away shirt for the collar.

I think it was mentioned above but my guess about the gold/yellow is because it features in our badge as the handles of the cutlasses.



While I'm at it, I'm also going to point out that we have one of the finest badges in football. It's a classic.

My only issue is the collar, cuffs and hem. Nothing correlates. No gold on collar. Thicker gold on hem. The shirt itself I really like.

Had a play around with the collar and cuffs and removed that weird bottom hem. Apologies for the headlessness, had to get Vini to model it.

Friuli-Venezia-Giulia is the region Udine is in. So it’d be like us having “I am Yorkshire” across the front.
