Hi Stegosaurus here,
Seems like we signed a good player here. I am surprised he didn't join a bigger club than us. We must have threw every penny in the vaults at him with the Prince foraging around the back of the sofa for a few drachmas.
Yes that's so funny .It is obvious they have a problem with us .Calling us a yo yo club might be true but we do keep getting there where as they don't . Not bad from a club who not so long ago did not have a ground of their own to play in . Any way I would like to thank them for being our nursery club keep the good work up we might be back . By the way can any of you recommend any other players who are worthy of wearing the red and white shirt .Cheers Roy.
My 2 faves are, he wouldn't get in their team this season anyway, and United are a yo-yo club whereas Coventry can get up and establish themselves.

That was also a WTF moment for me too.First? Doh! Anyway;
“Shows a lack of ambition to be honest. Sheff Utd will always be a yoyo club whereas we could go up and establish ourselves. i would be staying at City and pushing on”
I believe I have just found a supporter who is more delusional than the pigs! Is he honestly of the belief that Coventry are a bigger club than us?![]()

Tek one for the team and get some screen shots up
Good for forum morale amidst tekkova
With a population close to 350,000 their support is actually very poor. When they were in the First Division/early Prem, they'd get 13-14k each week.
Then for the last game of the season they'd get a full house and inevitably avoid relegation.
Same when the Ricoh opened. Full capacity as they all came in to marvel at their shiny new stadium, then back under 20k after a few months.
The words 'part timers' were never more apt.
Brummie wannabee wankers.
Chewing wasps... love the choice of phrase there https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2014/nov/14/wasps-coventry-city-ricoh-arenaBitter Cov fans.....never.....
As excited as I am to see O'Hare in a Blades shirt it is worth every penny just to see the Cov fans chewing wasps as we take yet another of their star players....not to mention the Pigs disappearing back into their slums wearing their "Lowe 3" shirts.
FUCK YOU ALL....THE BLADES ARE COMING BACK.
Well in those next four years, you'll get to see him 8 times because you sure as fuck aren't going upO'Hare was very much liked at cov, we're just surprised he didn't go to a big club, instead of going sideways/ backwards and staying in the championship for their next four years.

How is it even sideways. Sheffield United has spent more seasons in the top flight than Coventry, won more trophies, has averaged bigger attendances, has produced better homegrown players and has more money currently to spend. On any criteria used to evaluate the "size" of a football club your club cannot match Sheffield United.O'Hare was very much liked at cov, we're just surprised he didn't go to a big club, instead of going sideways/ backwards and staying in the championship for their next four years.
Evening gents.
Long time no speak. Always love reading these threads, especially when it's about us.
He's one of my favourite players ever. Grew a connection with the club like very few before him. Whether that's his celebration with sunglasses away at Birmingham, slicing his head open in a match for us (hence his scar) or performing on stage with Tom Grennan at Radio 1 Big Weekend. He's an iconic player for us.
A great player with great feet and a a relentless press. Before his injury he was the perfect attacking midfielder besides a real lack of goals. He gets an ACL injury and comes back scoring more goals in a matter of months than his entire career before.
He was well and truly phased out towards the end of last season and it was clear Robins knew he was gone. His only full game since Feb was against Manchester United at Wembley where he looked at home (until his penalty miss...).
Obviously lots of bitterness. I can almost guarantee Hamer (should he remain with you) gets a heroes welcome when we play and O'Hare will likely get booed. Had he left for £10m, no one would have bat and eyelid.
We will move on and have already spent a lot of the Gyokeres money again this summer. We hope he and Hamer move on (sorry) and we have another war chest of £15m+ to spend in sell on fees.
Why is it strange? Gets on well with Hamer, we can afford him and, although I don't see it myself, have a realistic chance at premier league footballNo one's mad at you just surprised by his strange choice !
