A shame that Hull happened. It would have been better for his American dream to last another 12 months instead.

But for now, finishing his career at Donny where, just like the Blades, he’s also had 3 stints seems a good way to sign off.

Either get them promoted to League One and retire or do that and consolidate in League One and then bow out.

Then continue his coaching of young kids and maybe end up doing that at United.

What he gives to a team behind the scenes, was worth the year’s contract.

Billy will know when it's time , when you just can't do what you found easy not long ago . For alot it's the professional pride rather than thier current ability that makes them call it a day. If he has another season in him he'll know before any coach or fan . If he makes it through the season and makes a difference good luck to him.

As for the name calling nonsense, just leave it , not just Billy . By all means comment on their ability but unless you know them you have no foundation .

My kids think hes on same level as Ronaldo and Messi. Blew there minds when I told em cr and billy share a birthday lol. Funnily enough my favourite Billy moment is a goal for Rovers where he shows the shirt for his young one who passed. Proper well up moment.

Whilst it wasn't a good move signing traore it still wouldn't have been a good move offering Sharp another year.
