Very much so mate....After the nonsense we've been through of late, some self inflicted, some not so much I wondered whether it was all worth hassle.
Just a reflection of the apathy I feel for the supposed Promised Land. The comment about your relative 'size' was more a reflection that, IMO, Illi is good enough to play at the very top, as opposed to stagnating in midtable indifference. FWIW, Goodison is the nicer side of the park![]()
I've got a feeling he's coming in as a number 10.Two things
1 Don’t play him as a winger. He’s not a winger
2 Please sell DCL asap
We just think we have a sell on clause for DCL.I've got a feeling he's coming in as a number 10.
All up in the air with Dom....Divides opinion amongst Evertonians. I'd love him to stay personally.
He'll be like Robbie Keane, every team he signs for now will be his dream or childhood club2nd time ?
Not quite sure what percentage of Sell on you guys have got.We just think we have a sell on clause for DCL.
Ndiaye is the real deal, he's got absolutely everything. Absolute steal at that price. I wish him all the luck in the world. I'll still wear my (fake) Ndiaye Senegal top occasionally.
He's almost certainly been asked to leave Marseille, not agitated for the move.So I kept my definitely real, definitely not of DHGate promotion celebration shirt with his name on it because i was okay with the whole "it's my dream move" shite.
Fuck the guy. Honestly
Him and his agent shaft us, then when it gets tough he just fucks off again.
Dream move my arse
I'd love to be sympathetic but he knew the risks - playing time and a manager/owner he knew and trusted, with a chance of relegation, or that clusterfuck where you have a 50/50 chance of them hating youHe's almost certainly been asked to leave Marseille, not agitated for the move.
He wanted to make himself a hero at Marseille - but unfortunately their owner isn't patient (or stable).
This seems more realistic than him being the new Anelka, which some seem to be making him out to be.He's almost certainly been asked to leave Marseille, not agitated for the move.

Would you personally turn down a move to Blades just because it might not work out?I'd love to be sympathetic but he knew the risks - playing time and a manager/owner he knew and trusted, with a chance of relegation, or that clusterfuck where you have a 50/50 chance of them hating you
He'll smash it at Everton but there's a massive part of me that doesn't want him to
I think it would ultimately depend on the odds of success and whether or not it's what's best for me at that stage of my career.Would you personally turn down a move to Blades just because it might not work out?
And now if I tell you this is your only chance to ever play for us? Take it or leave it. Need your answer in half an hour or we'll sign someone else.I think it would ultimately depend on the odds of success and whether or not it's what's best for me at that stage of my career.
I understand his heart made the decision but he needed to think it through, because he's now exactly where he would have been if he stayed - but now worth less
Was it his only chance though? That's where the thinking needed to come in. If he has a stellar season with us he could go to them a guaranteed starter they can build a team aroundAnd now if I tell you this is your only chance to ever play for us? Take it or leave it. Need your answer in half an hour or we'll sign someone else.
That was the biggest pile of horseshit in the whole sorry episode. Who believes that crap? I'm sure Ndiaye's agent didn't.And now if I tell you this is your only chance to ever play for us? Take it or leave it. Need your answer in half an hour or we'll sign someone else.
I have to explain why my daughtes in a Senegal top all time.So I kept my definitely real, definitely not of DHGate promotion celebration shirt with his name on it because i was okay with the whole "it's my dream move" shite.

Fucking crap state of affairs.
We get promoted with a generational talent (by our standards), then can't keep hold of him, then proceed to get mercilessly pounded every week, only to watch him play for someone else in the PL, after we are relegated.
I can muster more enthusiasm to clean out the drains, than I can to support this fucking club of late.
How many managers did they go through since he signed at least 2 maybe 3?He's almost certainly been asked to leave Marseille, not agitated for the move.
He wanted to make himself a hero at Marseille - but unfortunately their owner isn't patient (or stable).
Yes. Obviously not his fault. How many managers did they go through since he signed at least 2 maybe 3?
That's broadly the story we were told last year. Was it his only chance though? That's where the thinking needed to come in. If he has a stellar season with us he could go to them a guaranteed starter they can build a team around
All conjecture really isn't it.That was the biggest pile of horseshit in the whole sorry episode. Who believes that crap? I'm sure Ndiaye's agent didn't.
Also that was said about a week after United should have reported them to UEFA for tapping up. We should have done that, and then kept him for the Palace game. He would likely have gone anyway later but I suspect at a higher price, and we would have had at least one PL standard player in the side.
So what are you suggesting......offer N'Diaye £100K a week to try to persuade him to sign a new contract?
This is life as a football fan and applies to every club, apart from Real Madrid and possibly Barcelona.
You want your players to improve and become their best....but at some stage.....players start getting big ideas and think they'd outgrown their club.
You only need to look at Liverpool, they consistently can't keep hold of their better players.
So if Liverpool can't persuade players to sign new contracts...then what hope do we have.
However the trick is to re-invest the transfer fee and hopefully end up better.
We spent both the N'Diaye and Berge money but our buys have been poor of late, so we've ended up worse.
