Show me were I claimed to be a big

It's a bit rich this Derby coming from you mate ....
I will call you mate but let's say in 10 years I've fought against racism for my 2 kids .
Schools , police the lot .
I'm old school proud blade , been there seen it and to be honest don't understand trouble.
I'm a blade but if an away fan can for me I'd twat em back .
Family life before anything .

I was only young in 80’s, but my dad has told me stories of getting attacked or cornered by other fans. Obviously if you go out looking for it you’ll find it, but sometimes normal blokes do get caught up in a fight. My dad’s told me that he’s seen/been involved in a fight about 8-9 times, starting nothing. I personally used to always stick to my fellow blades going to Sunderland/Middlesborough before moving to the US. If you’ve been involved in over 25 fights, you’re probably looking for it, but sometimes it does come up on innocent people.

You called me woke , I was simply telling you if you knew me you wouldn't say I was woke .....
You understand now ...
I wasn't saying you would be afraid of me , you simply misunderstood
Afraid is a weakness .
Being a blade us about strength to support ur team regardless of where they are playing reputations mean nothing when u follow ur club .
As I said in was 70s/80s I was young back then it happened .
Liverpool fans murdered juventus fans , nillwall destroyed Luton.
It was back then .
Today I'm a blade living in derby times move on .

Fear is a natural emotion I don't think it's weakness....Ive been scared in my life at times , but then I've probably been in situations you haven't been in

Sorry but afraid isn’t a weakness at all.

Don’t mind reading about how it was but this thread is turning into a pissing contest

Quite sad that blokes can't go to a match without looking for a feyt. I started boxing at an early age, now in early 50s and been in boxing and mma gyms for years. Some of the soundest lads on earth and met mates for life in them, been away on hols, out for beers, never look for trouble even tho they'd fold these plastic hard men like a deckchair. Wanna fight? Go to a boxing gym, mma gym instead of ruining the football for people who are there to see the match.

Being afraid is natural, far from being a weakness.

Times do change.

Just wait to see the changes that happen in a couple of weeks when we get a new Labour goverment under Keir Starmer.

I’ll tell you what being afraid is. It’s not a bunch of hooligans bragging.

Afraid is being told your loved one’s illness is terminal, and there’s nothing you can do.

Afraid is when the end comes, and all you thought was going to happen suddenly stops and becomes something else.

Afraid is waking up at night and for a split second feeling like they are still there, then knowing they are not

So don’t anyone come at me with afraid is a weakness

Are you Derby in disguise

You need to have a word with your air stewardesses. She told me to “shut the fuck up and stop being a cry baby” when I told I her I thought the wing was dropping off on my last Crab Airways flight.

Turns out it held on until we landed so I was being a bit of a fanny.

The white ball that was thrown at Bert's head at Middlesbrough in 1971 was a billiard ball, Bert noted the black spot on it as it flew past his left ear.
I got into bother at that match.

Bert initially considered heading it back at those Middlesbrough skinheads but he quickly calculated the velocity of the ball and came to the conclusion that a large hole in his head would result in missing most of the game whilst the St John's patched him up.
Were you inside the ground or outside when ball thrown. We were on the home end which felt fine and dandy until they spoiled things temporarily

If anybody says they went to ayrsome park in the 70s /80s and didn’t feel like their lives were in mortal danger then they either lying or they are boro fans.. looking for it or not
Went in 71, got battered. Only a bairn mind

They say the same to me….

That reminds me of the old joke about the Irishman playing pontoon and down to his last fiver when a leprechaun appears to him, on his shoulder. He’s drawn a ten and a six and he’s gutted. Buy one for a pound, buy one for a pound says the little fella. So he does and gets a three so he’s a bit happier with 19. Buy one for a pound, buy one for a pound says the Leprechaun, he thinks well they’re lucky, so warily buys. An ace. 20. Buy one for a pound, buy one for a pound, buy one for a pound! But l’ve got 20 he says. Buy one for a pound, by one for a pound. So he does, ace 21 and 5 cards.

Eeeeh says the Leprechaun, your’e a right lucky bastard……

that all changed from the sept 67 derby i spoke about united fans went to the top of the kop that day and wednesday did the same in the jan 68 return both sets of fans were side by side on each others kops after that
I remember Blades fans packed top half of Kop at sty September (?) 1966

You might have heard our school hand bell being rung that day, there was an awkward moment on the Monday morning when no-one seemed to remember who had it last….

On the home end.
