I suppose he's found his level, when fit he's a bottom half championship player .
He did OK with better platers around him , when exposed he struggles .
No shame in that but it's his level .

I’m not that bothered that we released him, his time here was largely disappointing (might be understating that a bit).

Reckon it’s not a bad signing for piggies though, when he’s fit (yes I know that’s about 40% of the time) he’s championship level easily.

Two things I remember about the highly entertaining 2-2 draw up at Boro in the sunshine, 2 seasons ago.

1- It was a highly entertaining game played in the sunshine, 2 seasons ago.

2- Lowe was hilariously shit. Kept finding himself wrong side of his man, like he'd just read a coaching manual penned by Daryl Westlake.

If he keeps fit he’s a decent player for them, but will he remain fit, that’s the issue, it’s a decent move for him as he really could have struggled to get a club with his injury record, shame it didn’t work out for him here.

No one would argue with him being shown the door here, not good enough for the level we've been at for the last 7 years or so, and Wednesday's level is probably about right.

However, we're now a shambles and could quite easily end up having a worse LWB than them. Decent ones are hard to come by, especially when you're skint. I can see that being the case in several positions where we've released players.

Surely an indifferent shrug of the shoulders in the next Derby would sum up Max Lowe better?

He’s just a bit of a ‘meh’ player. Miles off being a Premiership player, not a bad championship player at all. Fortunate that he was part of a decent 22/23 team at United, never a stand out player and if RND had been fit he’d have been second choice.

His best spell was under Steve Cooper, but even then he struggled with injuries. I’d be surprised if they get more than 25 games from him.

Personally, this contradicts the above but I’d have kept him as a back up.

He was shit first half but was quite decent second half the half time bollocking worked wonders

He's been a really poor player for the financial package we have paid sine he signed. He'll also be permanently injured at Hillsborough too. Poor player on the odd occasion that he was fit,and he was all over the shop at defending at left back and poor going forward. He'll be a drain on their resources and he has the heart of a pea. Good riddance hes gone. Pleased as punch that they have signed him.
Just be careful with that - they said exactly the same when we signed Mcgoldrick not their player at that time but look how that turned out for them

You may well be right, it was certainly first half when he was defending down the far end that Boro players kept walking past him.

I probably closed my eyes 2nd half when it went anywhere near him.

Always wondered how professional footballers can be so lax concentrationally
Lowe is a great example of this
Even when we had a great team full of leaders and. A back 6 that barely. Conceded even against top. Opposition he just seemed to be mentally elsewhere at crucial times
That's how I'll remember him
If rohl can keep him fit and get him to keep his mind on the job he truly is the next klopp

Can anyone remember 10 things he did? Good or bad? All I have is

1.Goal against Sunderland when everyone thought it was Brewster
2.Deflected goal v Blackburn
3.Running back away at Hull and pulling his hamstring
4.Standing on a sprinkler

It's not really a criticism but there can't be many players who've played over 40 matches for us and left so little memories

'7 Sept 2020 — Sheffield United have completed a £15m deal for Derby duo Max Lowe and Jayden Bogle, with both players signing four-year deals' Skysports

😅😅

I've never known a player we payed good money for get so over analysed after leaving.

Half of it ain't even true - I mean it's not like he played with the best players in the division last season.

Whatever pig

I don't think he's a genuine difference maker no matter who he plays for.

He does an average job but it's not like he has any defining characteristics that set him apart.

He's not got it in him to cut someone in half like RND would, passion or leadership of a Baldock or at the top level pace of Walker or attacking prowess of a TAA.
He was at Forest

Getting into a tussle with Roy Hodgson on the touch line is the only thing I can remember

I remember him being rank bad at Wembley when his man Mahrez scored a hat trick. Obviously we were playing the best side in the world at the time but he just looked so out of place, seemed to have no idea what to do.

That being said, always good when players find a new club, even if it is Wednesday. Not nice for anyone to worry about unemployment, even footballers.
