Good defender but lost it this season. Probably saw our best players sold off and thought what the fuck is this.

Good RCB in the Championship last season. Obviously he leaves for that sort of money, but if it doesn't happen, why rule out he'd be a decent member of the team next season?

I don't think people are questioning his ability in the championship? (He proved that) It's if the fucker wants to be here! I don't care how good a player is, if he's not committed I want em gone.
 
anel like the majority of our players would be fine in the championship but his body language of late does suggest he doesnt want to be here next season but i would still put a minimum starting price on him at 15m

A proven player in the champ, poor this season, but could well do in a side that likes the ball. I'm thinking Brentford (or Man City!).

Brentford would be a good shout. He has been let down. But don’t sulk. Work hard, look like the one ray of light and fuck us off in return for giving us a nice fee. No one would begrudge him if he said I was sold a lie, we all think the same.

It’s his shit attitude that is unforgivable.
 
I think some article claimed that Anel has 17M Relegation Clause.. He is better/natural as an attacking defender which he was for us in Championship, but not so much in Prem

Honestly, I have no idea. I know he did well in 2022/23, and if he sticks around I'd like to see more of the same.
 
Seems to recall when he signed he said the move to united was a stepping stone, which is fine but not the wisest thing to say when you join a club.

This season I imagine Anel wanted to showcase his talent to the footballing world but he probably feels annoyed at the lack of quality around him but his performances have actually been as bad as anyone else's. He isn't the character we thought he was. I'd take anything above £8m for him given if he stays he'll not want to be here. I wouldn't be surprised if Wilder has had some frank words to him and that's made Anel even more sulky.

I can see him joining a middling top flight European team at best, but there was a reason we had by far the worst defence in the league last season and he was part of the problem not the solution.
 
Among some others Anel seemed to be better than Championship in our Champ season and not many thought the team would take 0-5 beatings weekly based.

I think there has been damage between Anel and the club/supporter and it's better for both to let him go.. We also need transfer money (just hoping we use it wisely)
 
He's easily City class, I think Stones and Diaz will be worried for their places when they sign him and Ake will be looking for a move.

City will struggle to pay his fee and will be forced to throw Grealish and Oscar Bob into the deal as well as paying a substantial portion of their wages for the next two years.

Oh and I've heard Kane is refusing to play tomorrow night as he's scared of the Bosnian wonder kid
