Times have changed though and I’m not sure that particular culture is enough anymore.

Although that said, any kind of culture other than the “fuck this, we’re already down, let’s not bother turning up” mindset we’ve got at the moment would be an improvement.

Personally think it’s hard to judge Wilder on this group of players, they’re awful especially defence. No manager on planet could make Trusty a PL defender although Wilder I think should’ve opted for Holgate but doesn’t mean much, he has enough credit in the bank to have a rebuild and if it doesn’t work out part way Oct-Nov. This scouting/data team they’re getting together will have their work cut out this summer that’s for sure.

The types that have done well for Wilder are also the types who do well for this club generally, regardless of who the manager is. No point hiding from that, might as well embrace it. These types of players are readily available for the league we're going into and we should sign a good number of them. It's the best way to quickly move on from this season and establish a decent mentality again

it's about 20 years out of date..
Football has moved on and unfortunately unless we change our mindset we will be even more left behind than we are now.
Yes we badly need a new owner but when one does come along we need to change the whole ethos of the club.
