He really doesn't help himself. The club he is currently contracted too is losing every week and you have this cretin and his sidekick cretin doing ridiculous silly home made videos on social media. How about keep your head down, don't antogonise a support base that is royally pissed off with you and the club (Brum) and work hard in training. In reality he clearly doesn't give a shit and is there just for the money. I can understand that (we all work for the money ultimately) but at least try not to make is so obvious you fucking puddin.

It’s not wasted potential, it’s just that although he is rapid, he is extremely, extremely, shit at football.
His physique is more suited to rugby, even if he caught 1 in 3 of the balls thrown his way he’d still have a good career due to his pace.

He must’ve made so much from football despite being crap, his pace is what clubs pay for. Sadly nothing beyond that.

As for his off the field activities, no issues with him doing it, clearly enjoys it so why not

Genuinely think he’s no better (in fact possibly worse) than me, an average Sunday league player, in terms of actual technical footballing ability.

His athleticism makes him a somewhat viable player for chaos theory alone, but it’s actually quite unbelievable to think he’s not only made it in the professional game, but to have had even the smallest sense of ‘longevity’ within the top few levels of professional football.

Players with physical attributes who are shit at football tend to get found out by around 15/16 in the academy system. Somehow Burke has managed to circumvent this process and make a living as a footballer.

He should be in non-league like the rest of the ‘speedboat no driver’ players who have fallen out of the leagues.

He wasn’t ‘found out’ in the academy system because he’d go past players with ease. When he broke into Forests 1st team at 18 he was touted by many as the next Bale.
His career hasn’t reached the lofty heights that many coaches hoped it would for sure, but let’s not rewrite history.
Even when he played for us there were some moments when he made some very good defenders look cumbersome.

Some lovely comments on here about him! It didnt work out for him with us, but christ, he's still a person!

None of us have any idea whats gone off in his life, or in his working life at clubs. Listen to any one of the numerous podcasts with ex footballers to understand what a horrible industry it is and how badly very young and inexperienced (in life) people can be treated by clubs. He had a massive move at a young age, had earned money that any of us can dream of and potentially never had the right infrastructure around him to handle it. I imagine if id been a millionaire at 18 year old and people kept on giving me 10k plus a week i'd have made some strange decisions and my motivation to succeed might have waned a bit. the lads nearly 27, lived from what i can imagine in Nottingham, Glasgow, Leipzig, maybe london and or West Midlands for a bit (im guessing at this), that's an awful lot for a young person to handle

Not going to go on a character assassination as he's done that pretty well for himself....

On a footballing front I've never seen a player consistently shoot when they should cross, and cross when they should shoot so many times in my life!

He's a hairy Conor Sammon!

Hi Stegosaurus here,

I've never understood why teams keep giving plebs like this a contract. Why do managers think "well he's been at 11 different teams and being absolute wank at them all, but I'm sure he'll do well for us!"

Like the lasses that go out with a bloke who has a history of being a cunt, thinking they can change him.

2 different teams have paid £15m each for him too

Absolutely awful player but one day he can tell his kids and grandkids that he scored a winner at Old Trafford in the PL 😅😅😅

He can hit the target it turns out...

Blagged another Bundesliga move now.

Union Berlin
He’s had an incredible career, really.

28 goals in 273 appearances and he’s one of those rare player that I can categorically say just doesn’t doesn’t look like a footballer in anyway. Scored in 10% of the games played.

Can’t knock him and his agent but if you look at the talent of Mousset and clearly the dedication and desire of Burke you have to take your hat off to Burke for what he’s achieved in terms of contracts

The main thing in a player now is pace and he's got it by the bucket full, no end product but would hate to think I was trying to catch him.🏃‍♂️

My heart sunk when I saw this thread rearing it's ugly head. I thought we were back in for him for a minute then 😬
