The fixtures for the NPower League One 2013/2014 season were this morning released, following yesterday's announcement that the Blades will start the season at home to Notts County as part of the Football League's 125 Year celebration.

With notable fixtures at home to Oldham Athletic on Boxing Day and the local clashes with Rotherham United at the New York on 6th September and at the Lane on the 8th March, the Blades will begin and end the season at Bramall Lane, with Coventry City the visitors on the final day.

Brentford away is early this season. At least the weather might be better than last season!

And home on the opening day, the last day and Boxing Day again. Is this some sort of miracle?!

Our first 3 away games are really rather tricky...

In fact, September in general doesn't look too inviting!

Home first game
Home Boxing Day
Home last game

What's going on with that 'puter
Not normally so kind to us.

Home first, last and Boxing Day- been a few years since we've had that!

Think ill be struggling for London away games this year. I'll definitely miss brentford away which Is a shame as I owe my brentford fan mate £200 from last seasons bet

thinking quite the opposite , 4 home games and 2 away locally at bradford and rotherham , wont get travel tired

September has 3 away and 1 at home.

Away trips to Roth, Carlisle and Wolves.

only 4 midweek games all season ,3 at home , and both games v peterborough amongst them
posh is our only away midweek fixture

Is it me but it could be the Championship if you squint whilst viewing it.

Looking forward locking horns with better teams this year with a proper manager.

Shrewsbury look the only weak team and they are better than some of the dross we had to play last year.

Totally underwhelmed having looked down the fixture list. Also Bradford City away (4miles from my house) is in August when I'll be thrashing a cricket ball around a park (hopefully). So a bit disappointing.

These were leaked last night. A Wendy told me we had Notts County.
Whoopee how exciting.

Your Wednesday friend has been telling you porkies. 4 matches (I think or maybe 3) were announced by the league yesterday to highlight their 125th year. So we all knew who United had in the first game of the season.

Yesterday, I knew Hull were playing Chelsea so I think this was the only fixture that was leaked (but I maybe wrong)
