Yellow cards … good news

[ChipButtyBlade]

Slightly annoying that a couple of theirs early on went unpunished.

Number of bookings Anel got for next to nothing.

Here is Dean Whitestone booking Anel

Here is Keith Stroud booking Anel

Do they reset after NY? Picking a few suspensions up and I take it a few are close to 5 bookings.

Yesterday, once again showed the inconsistency of referees. Couldn’t get the card out fast enough for us, yet Brentford just seemed to get off lightly for much of the game

Even for such obvious ones such as them kicking the ball away multiple times first half and being allowed to, but we do it at 1-0 and it’s a booking.

Yeah and Wee booked for moving ball to other side of 6 yard box after Brentford player put it down, just seemed petty

Bet he was pissed off about that

Of course it’ll have been a shrug of the shoulders, we won and got three points.
We will be pissed off if it becomes a regular thing and he gets a 1 match suspension…

I said during Liverpool that the failure to book some of their players may seem to be trivial, but bookings build up to suspensions which could make or break a season of fine margins

The irony was that the ref wasted more time himself because of a ball behind the goal at the other end as they were trying a last launch into the box in 95th min
