I think the lads got the potential to cut it in the PL if he addresses one issue in his game. His recoveries. Often, when he loses possession or we turn over possession, high up the pitch, he has a moment when his head literally drops and a moment later he decides to run back (sometime trott because the play has already moved beyond his influence) into position. If he can get his head straight and focus in those moments, he'll be much more effective and consistent.

This 100%

his emotions and disbelief come first and then after that he looks to resurrect the situation often after it's far too late.

He’s out on loan in January 100%. Back to Spain or Saudi

I would fully back Wilder in this one
Only if we see bodies in. Squad depth is a massive issue for us and changing manager has no effect on that. HAS to be, at least, one in one out OR periphery players get removed from the squad getting loaned or demoted to the U23's and we then bring players in. Need quality in depth. It's been at the heart of our issues since the Summer window opened.

Not a Wilder player in a million years..
I reckon Wilder could shape Vini into a Lundsrtum style player

also, his job right now is to get the best out of the players at his disposal

A) because we have several games before we can bring in new bodies
B) CW needs to get a bit of credit in the bank before we let him loose with the cheque book again

I still remain a fan, I think he has a good amount of potential and think his size adds something to the midfield.

I love the amount of calls I am seeing to ship out half the squad... we have no money to replace them so we will be left with fleck and norwood with some academy players as cover!

We need bodies yes, but it’s a bit pointless having dead bodies like Souza here, as bad a midfielder as I’ve seen since Hammond.

I think he has been useless, just strolled about without ever busting a gut. Was he just allowed to get away with it when he had more to give all along? One things for sure Wilder won’t let him stroll about and not sprint back to help out so it’s slate clean for all the players for me and I’m hoping a rocket up their arse from Wilder might somehow wake them all up especially Souza. We will soon find out 🤞🏾

he let lundstrum stroll around when he was downing tools as soon as Berge was signed ....,. still picked him ... hope he has learned his lesson

This is my concern too.
All this wilder ‘won’t let em stroll about’ isn’t exactly true, he has been guilty of this in the past and also fielding his favourites when out of form.

Hope he doesn’t have big toes

This is my big worry about reappointing Wilder, let's hope he doesn't go back to Norwood/Fleck combo.
Chucking Vini into the middle with them two is a pure disaster waiting to happen..

0 tackles in, 0 good passes made. Won a few headers at the front post from poor corners is all he has contributed to. Are you really calling that a good first half? I’m not convinced

Improved tracking back and energy. But let’s not overreact. Needs to maintain this now as the bare minimum for a £10m player.
