His quick 20 yard forward pass opened the Cambridge defence for Vale’s goal. Let him learn elsewhere and be part of the summer reset and have had a fuller season of playing time.

Probably best not to infect him with United's whiite flag culture and keep him away till the summer when hopefully we can bring in enough players with bravery and a winning mentality to at least stabilise in the Champ.

"The visitors' Ollie Arblaster had a long-range drive saved by Stags keeper Christy Pym early on before Davis Keillor-Dunn was thwarted by a timely block from Jesse Debrah as he bore down on Connor Ripley's goal at the other end.

The Valiants came close on 14 minutes when Arblaster found Tom Sang who whipped in a cross from the right, but Funso Ojo could not keep his header down at the far post.

Arblaster came even closer when he thudded the outside of the post from close range after another dangerous Sang cross from the flank."

Sounds like he played a blinder!

Same argument that was made for bringing Jebbo back from Derby. It was a mistake then, and certainly hindered his development.
He's playing regularly, seemingly performing well at a level below where we're likely to be next season. I think the risk/reward of dropping him in at PL level and expecting him to develop the same is highly weighted to the former. I'd favour letting him get experience of playing 30+ tough games in a season, and him starting for us in our restructured side gearing up for a promotion charge.

He started on the bench last Saturday. Knowing when to bring them in is one thing, knowing when to leave them out is just as important. It’s his first season of men’s football and very few can sustain it at that age.

He’s best off where he is this season. He’ll come back in the summer with valuable experience and be more than ready to kick on in the Championship.

Although tbf not sure I’ve ever bought into the young uns get in team under Hecky. Which young player has become a first team regular since he took over? Ndiaye and RND were already in team under Slav and Jebbison never got to being a proper starter so feel a bit like his blooding of youngsters is a bit of a myth.
 
Leave him there til the end of the season. Why would he want to come back in Jan when we still have no more than 5 points? It would ruin his confidence big time coming back here & halt his development, and for what? Him sitting on the bench?

He’s a big United fan, seen him in quite a few away ends last season. He’ll will be a big player for us next season I feel as we’ll be skint.
