Why the fck would he want to come back? The club is an irrelevance until a new ownership era. It's a mission impossible and will only harm his reputation and residual goodwill. He doesn't need the money so why?

For me he pays back his huge severance package that he manipulated the club into paying through months of petulance and briefing against the club in the press.
Wasn’t this debunked in the accounts? 😂

He needs to start by getting the prince to halve his asking price!!

It’s true, why come back to the same situation that you left. We can only hope it’s a personal vendetta to put wrongs right, this is what I am banking on so we should give him a chance, maybe

He starts by reminding the players of their duty to the badge and why they are here. I fear Hecky does not do this.
Heckingbottom has no Sheffield United loyalty or genuine passion for, whatsoever. He's insipid, impartial, and no fire at all.
As well as being totally clueless in managing a premier league team.

For fuck sake.

We don’t need someone with “Sheffield United loyalty”. We need someone who can do the job.

Some people are determined to keep this club strictly small time, rooted in the last century.

Main job will be to put together a decent championshipteam to challenge next year. Some of our current players could still develope. Summer 24 will be interesting.

I’ve not seen that but we do know he asked for £4m from the club he said he would never leave in trouble after putting false stories in the press.
Warnock is twice the Blade CW will ever be as he cared for the club against his own interests.
In CW’s world only one person matters.

I'd be expecting one hell of a braveheart call to arms. He's certainly equipped with the ego.

But ultimately it's a hiding to nothing and will be an additional nail in his career coffin

What's 'new century' about your approach?
What suggests I want to keep United 'in the twentieth century? '

What’s the Sheffield United loyalty crap
we need a competent manager who can make us competitive and a strong side with a structure to make us successful next season in the championship

It’s debatable I agree, but I think he deserves a second chance based on what happened before the shit show of the second season in the prem
Like a lot of people l wasn’t happy with how he pushed the envelope at the end and wouldn’t accept any blame. But, the truth is that since then he appears to be a busted flush. My concern is that ot will be beyond him, all things considered. Time will tell. Hopefully l’m wrong and he at least can put some fight and belief into the side. And genuine belief in himself. Not ego, fire.

I swear some fans sound like blokes still bitter about their ex missus when talking about Wilder.

Saying he needs to win us back and apologize and that he shouldn't have left us.

It's a job, yes he might love the club but there were clearly things going on behind the scenes that none of us know about and he felt it best to leave. That's it, I was gutted when he left but I don't hold it against the bloke.

Think a few need to grow up here and realise that a manager leaving (Just like players) is not personal.
