No doubt you're always getting asked this, but is there a good place I can park in the street on Saturday? I'm assuming it'll be hell as it is at most grounds*

I did look at the O/S, but it's using the same crappy software as ours and basically doesn't work.

*btw, the one good thing I'll say about Stevenage is the parking...

Thanks in advance guys.

Save ya fuel pal. It'll be off due to snow!! If it is on, probably best parking at train station and walking up(ten mins):)

Get there 2-3hrs before and you can park right outside on shoreham street. Failing that listen to gaz^^^^^

I'd take Gaz's advice, I always park there, convenient and relatively easy to get out once it's over, it's not cheap though mind, usually looking at about 7 quid!

Careful of permits and restrictions round the ground (especially if you can't see the lines). There is on-road parking knocking around but you've got to be early.

The G Casino on Queens Road is probably a touch closer than the station and had all day parking around the £3.50 mark last time I looked. You're at the wrong side of the ground for anywhere to drink other than the casino though.

Other best option at the other side of the ground and on the edge of town (if you're after a drink) is Eyre Street car park.... it's a bit of a palaver to get in to (got to go down a couple of one way streets) but always seems fairly reasonable when we've parked there.... just a quick walk up to Henry's or the Benjamin Huntsman Wetherspoons from there.

The council have a list of car parks here if neither of them suit: https://www.sheffield.gov.uk/roads/travel/driving/parking.html

Permit parking in force on Saturdays until 6.30pm and the parking police are very keen, beware.

Almost directly opposite the ground on Brammall Lane itself (perfect for away end) have a mini-valet and leave your car until after the game. £10 for medium size car. They do a good job.
Slow getting away after though!

1st rule of parking advice jonchee. Never take advice from somebody who can't spell the name of his team's ground :-)

£3.50 there all day unless its match day parking where the robbing dogs charge a fiver

If you're feeling naughty, stick it in Waitrose and if you get a "fine" then the plastic wallet they come in is good for keeping your phone dry.

Norfolk rd or Broomhall ,free and a 15 minute walk ,unless you pass the Royal standard or Sheaf Island for a couple of pints.
