First details on site now

http://www.sufc.co.uk/news/article/20130307-awayoflife-663972.aspx?

Sheffield United has been delighted with the response to the new 2013/14 #awayoflife season ticket campaign.

To kick off this year, fans were asked to send in photos of themselves in their Blades colours using the #awayoflife theme. Photographs came in from far and wide, from all ages and are now on the official SUFC Facebook page for you to vote for. The photo with the most Facebook likes by 5pm on Friday 15th March will bag a free season ticket for next term.

A selection of the photos will also be shown on the big screen in a specially created video at Saturday's game against MK Dons.

Head of Supporter Services, Emma Wylie, said: "We really want fans to engage with the Club and the #awayoflife social media competition has definitely encouraged this. We have also taken a new interactive approach to the season ticket marketing campaign this year by designing personal websites for our supporters. The websites will include full details of the new season ticket offering as well as a video and personalised SUFC image for fans to download to their mobile, PC or tablet."

After another season of immense support from the fans and an average attendance of over 18,000, the Club have designed the new season ticket offering to thank Unitedites for their continued commitment.

Renewal prices have been frozen from last season with current adult season ticket holders paying £299 on the Kop to secure their seat, just £13 per game! Under 16s can watch all the action from as little as £1.30 a game and concessions are still available for over 60s, under 22s, students and disabled.

Adults and over 60s renewing their seats online can also claim an additional £5 discount on the early renewal price.

The Blades have retained and frozen the returning fans price for lapsed season ticket holders and current 2012/13 members, as well as giving all supporters the option to spread the cost over 10 monthly payments with our Direct Debit partner, Zebra finance.

Full season ticket information and dates of sale will be released next week on sufc.co.uk

Current season ticket holders, lapsed season ticket holders, 2012/13 members and fans who have purchased tickets this season will all receive an email with details of their unique personal website and how to access it.

The deadline for the discounted renewal period and date to claim your current season ticket seat is 12noon on Saturday 20th April.

As I read it we've got 'til 20th April to get same seat at renewal rate

No great shock... sure they said last year that the prices were frozen for two years anyway.

The only shock is the very early date, roughly five weeks to get it sorted. May cause some people stress.

Is there any mention of the extra £20 discount we got last year? I can't remember if it was for buying early or buying online.

It's not applicable this year, it'll be a £5 discount instead.

Bargain - delighted with that. Well done SUFC, even if was already promised.

It's the glorious sunshine that I find shocking, must have been photoshopped. Mind you there is one really handsome bloke wearing the specs.

On he left with the white hair and red jacket????

:D

Got my "personalised" email this morning, if you haven't got it yet, it appears to be:

I = Initial
Surname = Surname ;)
###### = Customer Number
LOL, mine came through too but for my son (he shares the same initial as me). Anyway, we've renewed now, but I noted some hiccups with the site, bit laggy, pages not loading correctly (could this be a sign of an avalanche of renewals for Championship footie next year ). Moreover, could only do one at a time so had to do the kids separately :(

But kudos to the Club for the price freeze and minor online discount :D

Doubt it, just a crap website.

Unfortunately I have to take a different view to others on the pricing. Think its brilliant that they have frozen prices but, and be kind with the student jokes, ill be graduating this year and the jump from £140 (very reasonable) to £400+ is a big pill to swallow on a graduate wage? I'm also relocating to Manchester and funds are going to be tight.

I understand there has to be a cut off point but to me 22 is not it. There needs to be a step up to say 25yo to cover people like me whilst we are getting set up in life? Happy to pay more but 3 times more is a lot and after 10+years of having a season ticket which is next to my family its hard to say no, regardless of which division we are in!

Why not have a discount for those in their early 30's who are just starting a family.

Or for those in their 40s because they are having to buy their kids a ticket.

Or for those in their 50s because of the cost of sending their kids to Uni. ......

and you wont have a loan check to pay it with either!

WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD - ALL DOWNHILL FROM HERE :)

thing is with the student one, you will either get a job and so can pay it or you wont, then you can get UB40 ticket

Because at those stages in life at least you have some funds behind you rather than being in 20k+ of debt!

Not saying I shouldn't have to pay or wont, its more the point that I know people who have been enticed by the £140 student and cheap student tickets and may have carried on after a successful(!?) season such as this to buy one next year? Not possible at those prices.

Just feel it looses this band of potential season ticket holders and if the club want to get a new and young fan base to keep coming to games then this is one blow they could soften to keep them attending?

looking at it another way, it could be that the student discount is too good an offer and they get used to paying naff all so we should increase the prices of all the concession tickets.

Also get one on the kop its cheaper
