Would be nice to get an early goal Colchesters form has improved of late, things will be tense more the fans than the team but this latest line up seems to have more options so lets get em early and settle things down. The problem has been that we have been quite easy to nullify at home and haven't had the game winners in the team whereas away, there's more pressure on the home team to take the game to us and that seems to suit us. No doubt promotion will be won or lost at BDTBL this season, particularly as 4 of our last 6 games are at home.
What's been good about the last two games is that the team look more balanced and carry more of an attacking threat, Saturday will tell I guess.

Glass half full Matt? Ever the optimist? Bollox to it, I'll join yaBig win coming up Saturday !
Fingers crossed...I fully expect a W6 D2 L0 return from our remaining home matches.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, I thought the general consensus was that Doyle shouldn't be allowed near the football teamhad Doyles shot that thudded the post gone in , we would have hammered them
missed a sitter yesterday apparentlyWhoa, whoa, whoa, I thought the general consensus was that Doyle shouldn't be allowed near the football team
I liked Danny Wilsons comment on KMacs goal "about time he scored wasnt it" - very amusing!
In seriousness though, it's great to see the goals being shared around the team. Doyle, KMac, Robson, forte, murphy and Kitson. Time for Flynn to put his share in!
looking at the fixtures with the exception of next week our toughest games are at the lane therefore we should have a better chance of taking a few more points, home form isn't great but with the crowd behind us it give us a better shout. I'd happily take a point next week, but i have a feeling we could get all 3.Good job I backed us @10/1 after the Shrews game and again @8/1 before yesterdays gameNot saying we're nailed on but a good result next Saturday and we'll be favs again.
Away from the potential smugness and back to the thread, as said earlier, with 4 out of the last 6 this season at home, promotion will be won or lost at our place and forget the runs of Yeovil and Bournemouth now, it's what matters from here on in that counts, just ask our neighbours.
Oh how three wins on the bounce raises expectations.looking at the fixtures with the exception of next week our toughest games are at the lane therefore we should have a better chance of taking a few more points, home form isn't great but with the crowd behind us it give us a better shout.
