Well I have to say that I am completely mythed that there is all this moaning and groaning in the forum at the moment. Call me a clapper, but I am happy as a pig in shit. These fellows Doyle and Bent will surely fire us out of trouble. I just cannot understand why people are so upset with Adams over these signings.
Darrent Bent is a cracking player and I can't believe we landed him. There was talk of him going to Villa for £24 million and we get him for a free! This is clearly the work of Tricky Trevour. Micalijo, you can no longer doubt that Birch has commercial skills!!?
I practically orgasimed when I heard that we had signed the England striker Bent, but then to find we had signed Irish striker Kevin Doyle I was sent to cloud 9. I've always admired him from his days at Reading and since at Wolves. I am puzzled that Mick McCarthy let him go, but I heard that him and Micky Adams are close. What a master stroke from Adams and Birch getting Doyle to leave a Premiership club to come to Bramall Lane.
I am over the moon at this last 2 weeks events and nothing can bring me down. None of Lenners wind ups, Micalijo's criticism of the board, Pinchy's vision of a footballing midfield and pessimism from Revolution and Grecian can bring me down. I will bow at Trevour Birch's feet if I see him and will give Micky a big kiss.
Well done Blades
