I’d like us to do a 90s style announcement, basically weird and embarrassing to the player.

Get him in some clogs and a sombrero to cover the Dutch and Brazilian heritage. Then throw in some MC Hammer gear cause his name is near enough spelt the same. Have can’t touch this playing and we’ve ourselves a social media classic!

Yeah whilst munching Edam and guzzling Brahma beer. Whilst a banging hardcore gabber track by Paul Elstak booms out of the speakers?

Some false flags on twitter about his arrival, but fingers crossed
There should be a rule against sharing negative info about us on Twitter from zero credibility sources on here. Sick of searching stuff up and it’s Dave26354850463638 with 17 followers spouting some shite.

Good deal all round I think.

£15m is a £14m profit for us and we were lucky to have Hamer for 3 seasons. He dragged us to the play off final last year and was quietly the best player in the division.

He'll fit right in. He's confident and will perform from minute one in the PL.

I just hope there's a good sell on clause. When we sold Gyökeres for £20m last month, we had a 35% sell on clause. Our new owner is a good business man and I'm sure will push for at least 15%.

To put it into perspective how good he is. People were fairly happy to get £20m and see Gyökeres leave. Hamer on the other hand is gutting for Coventry fans and most have written off our season because of it. He's too unique to replace, despite the fact we'll spend the cash.

You say he's to unique to replace my view on any club is that no player is bigger than the club and u will soon have another player who is just as good or even better, just like utd we have season after season u get a stand out player, on perm or loan who stands out, it's just us clubs who are not the top 4 prem clubs lose good players season after season but as true fans we still back our club with or without these player to get our next club legend!

I prefer Hamer over Gyökeres too. Mainly because I can pronounce Hamer, and I’m principally opposed to umlauts.

Same with us and Ndiaye. Massive ceiling, could drag the whole team with him. Irreplaceable. We had a similar thing with Jack O' Connell. He was pivotal to that Wilder run and that unique system we had. Once he got injured we dropped badly. You can't hope to replace them directly but can come out the other side with a better team.

The good thing for you lot is that you seem to be able to identify top talent at budget and have an excellent manager that xan develop players. It's a bad idea at that level to let contracts of assets expire too. It really damages you in terms of financial fair play, it's not just the money you miss out on. Now you can reinvest and get new assets. We've done the same with Berge/Ndiaye.

As the Pigs did with Di Canio, introduced him eating pasta on the pitch LOL. Stay classy Wednesday

Wasn’t it a pizza and wasn’t it uncooked, the absolute nob heads?
I reckon it was Carbone (a pun on carbonara?) or just a horrendous stereotype, eitherway bunch of cunts and a wank photo op.

Absolutely but to our style of play, it would be near impossible to replace him as he offers so much both defensively and creatively.
