I wonder if because in selling Hamer as well as Gyokores, they're going to have a much harder time pushing for promotion this season owing to how much of an impact those 2 had last year.

To be fair they are, (or were) a decent side. I watched their game v Leicester last weekend and was reasonably impressed. I therefore understand their disappointment if Hamer follows Gyrokes out the door.....bit like us and Illiman/Sander....

If the rumours are true (which I think they are), Blades fans, you're in for a treat. The guy is a magician and was the main reason we dragged ourselves into the playoffs at the tail end of last season. When Gyokeres had a dip in form, Hamer stepped up. He's the true definition of a box-to-box midfielder. He is literally everywhere, mopping up in front of the defence, striking pinpoint 40 yard balls, setting up our attacks or smashing them in himself.

Set piece specialist and a pure striker of the ball. I cannot praise him highly enough for what he's done for Coventry. He deserves a shot at the big time, and reality is if he was under a longer contract, I'm sure we'd have tried to keep and build around him. To Cov fans, he's worth a hell of a lot more than £15m, fans favourite and absolute quality.

You really have pulled a blinder if this comes off

There was a discussion about that earlier, that apparently Hamer had walked out his medical ect but nothing from anyone save a Leeds account with 300 followers

It is bollox, lad who posted it even suggested Hamer would walk out of his medical and go to Leeds instead....(if that sounds familiar that is exactly what Max Aarons did to them to sign for Bornmuff)

I've just updated my tag line thingmy to move on from a Berge reference, so don't let me down Gus!

Most of our fans on here were desperate for something of this quality to come off after selling Berge earlier in thee weekend. He does seem a really good player, just what we need. I know from your perspective you'll be gutted in the same way we were when Ndiaye went, to an extent also Berge but not like Ndiaye. One thing though for Coventry is that you have the best manager in the league in my view. Wanted him as our manager years ago but we went for Danny Wilson who did well but Robins was the man we should have got. All the best this season.

Just ask my Leeds m8 about hamer he said they been sniffing about all window but no bids gone in

Assuming the signing happens it feels like we've got a replacement for Ndiaye, Berge, and Doyle wrapped into one player. Typical Prince, always penny-pinching.
If only. Can we have Doyle as well ? Or is that greedy ?

Am tearing up at this.

Fair play for the comments, and despite our negativity on here, what does he have to lose even if we got relegated. Good players showcase their abilities, he could be a critical player in our survival or at worst for him get picked off by a better club should we not make it this season. Assuming he plays as well as he did for Coventry.

He is THE exciting player so far, IF this comes off.

Yes please get that medical passed. Do it again against Luton Town.

What's he doing hitting it from there? Surely he should be pinging it cross field to an already marked wing back to scuff across the 6 yard box to a slow reacting striker to miss...

We can surely coach that nonsense out of him.
