Coventry fan in peace...

If the rumours are true (which I think they are), Blades fans, you're in for a treat. The guy is a magician and was the main reason we dragged ourselves into the playoffs at the tail end of last season. When Gyokeres had a dip in form, Hamer stepped up. He's the true definition of a box-to-box midfielder. He is literally everywhere, mopping up in front of the defence, striking pinpoint 40 yard balls, setting up our attacks or smashing them in himself.

Set piece specialist and a pure striker of the ball. I cannot praise him highly enough for what he's done for Coventry. He deserves a shot at the big time, and reality is if he was under a longer contract, I'm sure we'd have tried to keep and build around him. To Cov fans, he's worth a hell of a lot more than £15m, fans favourite and absolute quality.

You really have pulled a blinder if this comes off

Believe it to not....we do a have a smidgen of sympathy because the same has just happened to us with ultra talented N'Diaye.

He was the type of player who would produce little moments of rarely seen magic, close control, quick feet, brilliant at nut megging opposition players and able to score goals from absolutely nothing. So just watching N'Diaye in action was often worth the admission money alone. We were convinced after a while he'd go to one of Europes top clubs. However, like Hamer, he was entering the final year of his contract, so do you take the risk at losing him for nothing or cash in now, whilst you can.

Cheers. Good of you to be so magnanimous if we really are nicking your best player for what you consider a cut-price fee. I'm really, REALLY excited about this (potential) signing. Will be delighted if it comes off.

From a Cov fan, you guys are in for a fun season! Except for the animosity from the poor cov fans online, the whole fan base loves hamer like a second son. Superb player and I'm sure there will be quite a few coventry eyes on the sheff utd games in the coming season. He bosses the midfield in any game, and can ping balls outwide like no other player I've seen at any level, as well as having a wand of a right foot for outside of the box shots that seem to have a knack of finding the far corners. Take care of him lads :')

No no. Thank you for Richard Keys and 2 Tone Records. Both saved my life on separate occasions.

Bit like Brentford signing Keane Lewis Potter and hardly ever playing him hope Bournemouth do the same.
Assuming you're on about Alex Scott given the reference to Bournemouth, just seen on Sky Sports News that he's actually out injured and expected to be back in October.

Fell through so he's currently staying at Leeds (which I'm not sure they're too happy about)
Fell through ha ha.

Hilarious.

I've no idea why they wanted him anyway. Is it anything to do with wanting Caicedo instead?

Apparently they want Caicedo and he wants to move to Chelsea but there's concern about of they can afford him without breaking FFP rules I heard.

No, they we're after Caicedo long before Adams was mentiioned. Think it was just for depth or their scouts liked him?
