I think if anything, whoever is behind the account is either trying to stir things, or trying to post a rumour that has half a chance of coming off as a way of edging his bets.

WE need to sign Hamer to make up our trio of players who don't look like footballers, he can go alongside Basham & McBurnie. At least Hamer looks like the stumpy Argentinian cheat Diego Maradonna (c) Viz.

Darren Smith seems to be hinting that the players we are working on are not being rumored. As Hamer is currently being heavily rumored, maybe this is a negative. He was pushing heavily the Smallbone thing yesterday too. I think we'd take Hamer, but there are teams (Leeds, Southampton, wolves) who will pay more than we will in the end.
