On deals the size we've been doing, I doubt it.
Even if you add 15-20% on top, you're still only at c.£25m spend and I'm estimating at the heavier end on our fees.

We seemed to have budget for a huge contract going out to Ndiaye, as well as a signing on fee, where's that money disappeared to?

Does this level of investment seem appropriate to you?

Ndiaye's agent apparently received a fee of £2m - I'm not sure which side paid that but such fees aren't always insignificant as you seem to believe.

People trying to work out budgets from rumoured figures for fees only are doing so on floored logic and incomplete information.

Probably because I'm fairly new to the forum this.. so am I right in thinking this is the place to post rumours, ITK snippets you get fed? 😂

From what i've seen the past few years reading this forum most of the users on here with these snippets of ITK information generally get the information out before the curve of the local / wider media. If you assess it properly most pieces of information were likely correct at the time of publication

Information and likeliness of it happening, that was correct earlier today... may then move to being 'incorrect' (out of date) later today.

(ITK people could also unknowlingly be fed dud information).

So is the rumours page for this ITK information or not?👀

Most ITK information that i see released is generally at the pre-bid stage before it becomes public information from the wider media who then run the story more openly. This pre-bid stage is naturally the most volatile. United are that slow on most signings that this volatile period lasts forever and a day with us.

I don't really understand the 2 or 3 users on here, naming and shaming the ITK people. Don't they understand any of the above, can't they be patient, can't they accept that things change quickly and that doesn't mean the ITK person is then wrong? 😂

If it does your head in so much when the information changes then surely you are best not reading this part of the s24su forum?

Lets celebrate the ITK users of this forum😂🚀🚀🚀

(The twitter ITKs do my head in - I really should take my advice and not read them 🤪)
Let’s not because 2 of them in particular clearly aren’t in the know and just come on here to stir shit and have their own agenda, and less said about Hell-acCunto the better.

So Berge was our highest earner (around 30k-40k) and Ndiaye was offered the biggest contract at the club but we can't afford new signings with wages?

I think the thing with the ITK on the forum is that certain ones pretend to be ITK, and then try and use that to push negative opinions and biases as fact.
You haven't done that yet, and despite the Ndiaye U-Turn (which you apologised for and we all accept wasn't your fault) you seem to be a decent bloke who is ITK to some extent, but a long as you don't start being bitter and cryptic (or calling everyone a Cunt like a certain former ITK) then all should be well!

We didn't pay Ndiaye's agent £2m, OM may have done. If so, that represents 10% of the overall fee (by most estimates).

We've spent £22m on transfer fees. I then added 15-20% on top for agents (more proportionally than the Ndiaye agent received)... I don't believe it to be insignificant, but relatively small beer in the scheme of a PL transfer budget.

Unless we're planning on not registering a full squad, we'll be getting five more in. This is based on having twenty seniors currently on the books (excluding the under 21s). Here's the breakdown - please feel to correct me if I'm wrong...

3x keepers (Wes, Davies and Amissah).
10x defenders (Egan, Anel, Bash, Trusty, JLT, RND, George, Bogle, Lowe and Larouci).
6x midfielders (Norwood, Anis, Souza, Ben, Fleck and Coulibaly).
2x forwards (Oli, Brewster - Jebbo, Osula and Traore all under 21)

Its a 25 man squad I believe. You have 21 seniors listed so 4 left. You could leave Fleck out until Jan 24 if his leg break means he wont play before then I suppose.

Bugger - Added Coulibaly at the last moment and forgot to update overall numbers! You are of course bang on with that.

There's also a chance that RND and Bogle won't be registered if their injuries indicate a likelihood that they'll not be back for a number of months.

I expect Bogle will be registered. RND fuck knows.

We could of course also either sign or loan players under the age of 21.

The idea that we can’t sign more than 5 players is just guff.

Don’t come on here talking common sense 🤦🏻‍♂️
El accounto has started to retract himself again from black and white informatiom back to grey. Yesterday he was even saying stuff like 'if we sign Souza before the weekend' 30 minutes before he signed. While the Princes' other mates were basically saying 'good news on the way'

El accounto dampening the budget is probably a real thing but he is also saying stuff like 'if the budget' works.

I think post Hecky RS interview he has been told to front us all up but be more vague. No real ITK info shared since then.

Our odds of relegation are getting shorter by the day, and we will be below Luton at this rate.....BELOW FECKING LUTON!!

Get ya foooking cheque book out PA!!

I'm surprised we're not rock bottom, to be honest.
As things stand, Luton are considerably further ahead.

Sorry - I probably didn't make my point clearly. I had seen the odd post suggesting all we could expect was one more perm and a couple of loans. I was trying to point out why I have higher hopes. The long term injured may be out of the running, so agree with you there's potentially even more (although I think even under 21 loans may still count).

Yeah there’s a narrative out there that we’re going to be restricted by the 25 man squad limit but it can be worked around and we should do that.

From the same guy who led everyone on here to believe Ndiaye was staying. Yeah maybe he was but the fact is it moved too quick for you.
I think he’s getting too many pelters here. The club thought Ndiaye was signing a new deal so if he’s source wasn’t in a real select few he only kept in the dark like 95% of our staff.

Earlier today, Talk Sports Alex Crook categorically stated the Blades would finish rock bottom
Unless Marty McFly had travelled back from the future with the 2023/24 season almanac, no-one can possibly make a categorical statement what the table will look like at the end of the season.

We might finish bottom or we might not, but I couldn't give two hoots about a pundits predictions. They all had us relegated before the start of the first Wilder PL season as well I recall.

I think that given the news of Tyler Adams and Chelsea, then not signing Hamer is not that hard to predict.

Then why's the thread still going and why are people still getting excited by the prospect?
