Sharp didn’t get offered Champions League football. His ceiling pretty much corresponded to ours currently.

Kyle Walker is a slightly more appropriate comparison. He was destined to better things, we couldn’t or wouldn’t grow at the same rate.
That’s fair. Walker’s exit was very straightforward though if memory serves, nor was he videoed doing a cockney walk through St Pancras singing a selection of Chas N Dave numbers before the deal was announced.

Anyway his name won’t be spoken again in my house, largely because nobody else knows who he is.

Anyway I’m off to Meadowhall to deck me and the kids out in PSG gear

Yeah that's the one I've been focusing on.

I intend to keep it up all season šŸ™‚
I’ve got involved also. Their English Twitter account took some hammer last night which was great to see but I very doubt those French fans who trolled our account follow the English OM account so won’t have seen it. If they fail to qualify for champs league league I think us Blades are gonna take Twitter trolling to the next level.

Childish but so what :p

he's a fucking dick, I don’t care if it was his boyhood club, he had all the time in the world to play for them, he’s a twat, i don’t wish injuries on anyone, but Karma is a bitch…

He had a massive opportunity to give something back to the club that showcased him and nurtured him to the world.

Id rather have half a Billy Sharp than him any day.

Which club ?

Ndiaye began playing football with the French clubs Rouen Sapins, Rouen, and Marseille before moving to Senegal with Dakar SacrĆ©-Cœur. His father moved to England and Ndiaye joined him where he joined the youth side of Boreham Wood, also playing Sunday League matches with Rising Ballers on the side.[3] On 17 November 2017, Ndiaye signed his first contract with Boreham Wood.[4]

I watched the whole game from kickoff... Trust me he wasn't.

Did a few flashes of Ili magic here or there for a few mins but 90% of the time he was either bullied off the ball by Leverkusen or bypassed altogether.
Fair do's I only watched the Ili 6 min highlight reel. Which was gut wrenching to watch.

What an insane thing to say- he was without doubt the best thing we have seen at BL for 50 years. The like of we probably will never get to see again.

He was without doubt a seriously nice decent lad. Things conspired and he moved on - it hurt - a lot; but not to respect we had 2 glorious years of sheer joy watching him and wishing him and his family all the best for his future endeavours is very low bar.

Good luck Ili- most of us genuinely hope you rip it up.

By the sounds of it the OM president said if you dont sign now, you will never play for us .... why would he play on Saturday v Derby if he knew he was going, at the Derby match he went down injured as well and could have come off to not jeopardize the move...

All the clips around the ground and matches , he really does seem a very likeable lad with the rest of the squad and fans alike..

He gave us great memories and was a joy to watch, players come and go ( Lundstrum downing tools deserves the shit he got ) , however Ili always gave 100% when here, right up to the last kick v Derby last Saturday ....... so best of luck to the lad.

He is likeable, that's what I don't understand.

Far as I'm concerned you'd have to be one bitter bastard to complain about his move. I'm just as massively disappointed about it but am I surprised? Not even close. It looked promising for a second but when your boyhood club comes in and then (allegedly) play some dirty tactics to get you to sign, you're going to go.

He's clearly got potential for an incredible career, a (for him) dream move on his hands and a family to think about, Sheffield United don't quite cut it when faced with those and as you say, he never half arsed it, he always had told performances - we have little to nothing to be annoyed about

Disappointed, oh fuck yes, annoyed enough to not wish him well? Grow up.

He was good, but you can’t say he was ā€œwithout doubtā€ the best thing we’ve seen for 50 years. He performed very, very well for us in the second tier for two seasons. We’ve had other players who’ve done it for longer, or in the top flight, or both. Brian Deane played for England whilst with us. Jagielka, Tracey, Henderson and O’Connell were all on the verge of England call ups. If Ndiaye was English, he wouldn’t have been near the England squad yet, which puts those comparisons into perspective. You can argue that he was the best player. You can make a strong case that he had the best potential of any player. But saying that he is ā€œwithout doubtā€ our best player for half a century is nonsense.

ā€œThings conspiredā€ doing some incredibly heavy lifting here.

He was a great player for 1.5 seasons and I can see why people are prepared to overlook the circumstances around his departure but also some aren’t.

Exactly my feelings. And he clearly could have stayed and probably would has Marseille not played the "now or never" card.

ā€œStar boyā€ - Fucking rat boy more like.

Actions speak louder than words (especially those you’ve got your agent or ChatGPT to write) and he’s fucked us. If you can’t get annoyed at something like this then when can you.

Wonder what Billy thinks about swallowing his pride and doing that video.

Hope the next time I hear his name it’s floating over Marseille being dumped out the Champions league or being steam rollered by PSG
Getting beat by Panathinaikos
