I based my initial opinion on what I've seen and read. I hope I'm wrong and he's the destroyer we need. But based on the first week of fixtures in the EFL and the way he puts his foot in I see bookings galore.

To be fair his style is infinitely more suited to the PL than La Liga so I'll reserve judgement... for now

If thats the case then i am struggling a bit with this signing. Especially at 12m. I think we need creative players first. This guy can come in to supplement them. Can’t expect to win any games or score by tackling.

I dont get why we arent looking at Hamer who can tackle but also is technically gifted and can create. 12m price tage on his head.

It does seem a very negative purchase.

The Views are from Espanyol. I've had to leave a few out because the language used to describe him is likely to offend people.

There are some positive bits in there though and ,as mentioned above, Flecks View From was crap too.

The more I see and read about this chap, the more I think that the early posts in this thread being dead excited about him must have been confused and somehow thought we were signing Vinicius Jr.

This fantastic signing who will transfer the side and make us forget Ndiaye and he's a poor man's David Batty...

Ndiaye becomes a forgotten man all of a sudden if this guy signs. Fantastic player

Aside from Traore, most of these players we are being linked with are big and powerful even if they are attacking, Sliame, Trusty, Souza, Tillman, Akpom, Palmer. I have a feeling this is part of Heck's template for what he wants for the Prem this season.

We've been one of the least athletic teams in the league (PL and champ) for the last few years now. Subsequent managers have tried to inject pace (Moose, Burke, Brewster, Khadra etc) but the ideal combination in any player is size AND mobility.
