He’s a straight up hard tackling ball winner so yes there probably is limitations to other aspects of his game

I understand the purchase and if we get creativity around him then great. But i agree he looks very limited. I’ve only seen clips of him crunching into tackles instead of carrying the ball forward or trying to link play.

Maybe i’ve seen the wrong videos or maybe he has that ability but not been showcased it. My concern is that we still need 4 players that can create opportunities to replace illi, mcatee, berge, and doyle

I kinda agree. While we need a midfielder who can tackle there needs to be more to his game otherwise we might as well stick Bash or JLT there. He was relegated with Espanyol too although that obviously doesn’t mean he’s bad, most of the players relegated from the Prem last season would be an upgrade for us. We’ll just have to wait and see.

yes we do still need 4 more creative players to come in but were crying out for a defensive midfielder like souza to sit in front of our back 3 win the ball back and give it these creative midfielders hopefully were bringing in obrien doyle hamer and palmer would do for me oh and another striker and a keeper to challenge wes i reckon we need 6 in

So, despite us usually taking an age to get a transfer over the line, we've actually done this in a couple of days... when the Berge transfer isn't even finalised yet?

There's a huge difference between "I don't even think it's possible" to "with the extra money from a potential Berge transfer..."

He basically had fuck all clue this transfer was happening.

its so boring. Yes its a shame weve lost Ndiaye and looks like Berge may go but even with them 2 who genuinely expected us to stop up? Let's just enjoy it. If we get battered every week then whats so good about this league anyway. Midfield destroyer than and that’s it. Will need players around him to give the ball too once he’s won it. Best crack on with finding some of those.

When you looked at the size of Stuttgart compared to us on Saturday, they were huge. We might need to adjust our expectations in terms of playing free flowing football, but if we build a team around being strong, we'll grind out some results. But we need players through the door quick.

I genuinely believe we have wages available for both Sander and VS. I don't hate Nixon, but I think in this case his information was wide of the mark. And there's no denying he's a touchy fucker who can't take a joke, meanwhile he's grifting the same rumours on his patreon that go in the Scum.

I'd have thought we'd have had a decent chance. Probably slightly more likely than not that we still went down, but we'd at least have been able to make a decent attempt. It's not a yes/no thing.
