The colour is not the same as it appears on this photo. I was at the game and the colour was more like silver

The marketing people can say what they want but that is as bland as f@@@ isnt it? There's nothing to it at all, and if it's released for general sale after the other 2 kits they will sell hardly any...and I've not even seen the away kit yet!

For me 3rd kits should be a little out there and far from bland. Can't see it selling particularly well myself either. Hopefully the away kit is something special

I wouldn’t say there was anything wrong with it or it was vastly different to what I expected… just had second thoughts, probably wouldn’t have of it was a tenner cheaper

Same, don’t get why they’ve used black numbers when the alternate shorts and socks are red

The GK kit had red numbers on the back - and looked great - so it’s not like they weren’t available. Would look much better with red numbers. Hopefully the case when the season kicks off.

I've said this before and I'll keep on saying it...third kits "should be so far out there" they are not even a thing. What the fuck do we need a third kit for? And this:
"Third Keepers warm up top. Not seen this before have we?" What the fucking fuck is a third keepers warm up top? I mean seriously...a third keepers warm up top. The most abstract thing I think I've ever seen in relation to football. Is there any wonder we have never seen this before?

Plus, that grey or silver or whatever the fuck it is kit must be the dullest thing SUFC have ever worn in a game.I challenge anyone here to find a duller SUFC kit. Ever. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets re-announced as the 2023 pre-season friendlies kit and never actually sees a real league game.

It’s not a third kit keepers’ warm up top. It’s a warm-up top to wear when the third kit is being worn

Didn't we have a 3rd shirt that was grey with lime green trim a few years ago? Don't think it was ever used in a match.
Grey kits are generally bad news - ask Alex Ferguson.

And yes, a third kit should be a break from the norm. Designers given the chance to go freestyle. Don't play it safe. Neon orange with yellow piping and black cuffs in wavy stripes. Maybe that man's head off side of suggs old building sublimated onto it. Owt. That away kit is dull as dishwater. Says nowt about the club, even though when they do say summat it makes no sense anyway. That away kit is as boring as what Preston are. Boring. Nowt.

This new third kit is a nod to the past. That past being the plain, boring, white kit we had to use last pre-season, because the kits weren't ready. Celebrating our history.
