You can see from some of the behind the scenes videos the club do the influence McCall and Lester have on the dressing room. Making sure the players feel happy and included is paramount.
Not sure sarcasm plays out too well in other cultures.

I’m getting a tad excited about our new squad coming together. Give it your best guys!
it shows its possible to find players at reasonable prices who have something to offer and that look able to fit in areas we needed fresh blood.

Im now not discounting having to take out insurance to travel more around europe

With regard to his build , to me it looks quite similar to that of George Best .

I may be wrong , but I seem to recall that he occasionally gave defenders a few things to think about. :)

Hecky said we are looking to break quick and play on the counter

This is actually encouraging to me. Our defence is very good, but as the relegation season showed, that’s not enough if you can’t counterpunch.

Pace and hopefully Ili’s trickery will be our big hope. The ridiculous team synchrony of previous Wilder years isn’t and can’t be this team’s MO any longer.

Hecky knows how he wants his team to play. Yes defensively we will be tested in every game but we are apart from a few positions a relative unknown even to us. We aren't quite sure of the identity of the team, pace, hardworking are great buzz words but without quality investment in strength and conditioning that leaves a large injury list.

So I guess oyu are very happy with this then Forte?

What else can you tell us about him? Think he will slot straight in and be ready go seeing as he is already match fit?
No, I think he will need some time to adjust. This is one for the future, but of course I hope I will be proven wrong and that he can go in and deliver from the get go.

Surely not at our end as with the new rules should be pretty straight forward on our side.
Might not be the work permit, might be international clearance which is different. Basically transferring his details from the Swedish FA which holds his registry to the English FA, can take couple of weeks to clear. Think Slimane missed the Chesterfield game because his international clearance didn’t arrive in time.

Why are Rotherham allowed to play a bloke that's not registered for them at all and we're not allowed to play Traore? If we just called him trialist on the teamsheet would that be fine?

We’re awaiting international clearance… it’s different to registration.

Can see this falling on its face.. don‘t we employ people to check these things out beforehand.

On one hand I'm disappointed. But on the other HARNESSING THE POWER OF BREXIT shows what a top class operation we have going off in this country!

As I've said in the shoutbox, if it's a visa, then it's likely down to the general delays at UKVI (lots of staff moved to teams processing Ukrainian visas).

We've had students delay arrival because they didn't get their paperwork back in time because turnaround was longer than normal. Absolutely nothing you can do to hurry the process along.

There are also conditions to be met to qualify for the visa, one of which is an internationally recognised certificate of English language attainment. As these have to be carried out in certified test centres, there can be a delay here too especially when a shit ton of students are also getting tested/re-tested in order to get across to the UK for term starting in September.

Also not sure how they define living in a country for the mandatory TB test for certain nations. If he still has a home in the Ivory Coast, it might be that this has to be arranged.
