About time the Marseilles fans pissed off.

I used to meet their type when I lived in Paris. Right set of fucking degenerates.

It does him and his family no harm to stay in a city where his family is safe and kids are settled. Look how they are hassling on social media. Imagine he has a few bad games how they’ll be with him and his family. Loads of no go areas in Marseilles.

Hopefully he sees sense and helps to him off this circus.

It makes no sense for him professionally to drop to a lower tier league. So it like Auba when he’s an old man and already proved himself.
 
Ndiaye playing last night is a good sign for us. Nothing is confirmed yet though. The collective wisdom here a couple of weeks ago was that he was definitely going to run down his contract, then he was definitely going to Marseilles a week ago, and then definitely signing a new contract and staying yesterday. The only thing I'm definite about is that I don't know, so I won't get too excited until his future is confirmed by the club.

Funny thing is Benie Traore and Iliman have the same agent ClassicoSport.

Im pretty sure one of their team were seen in the welcome video..

Hopefully he's duct taped to a chair in Stuart McCall's hotel room in Portugal right now.
 
I’ve given up reading the French articles. I’d also give up listening to Darren smith he told me days ago that there was little hope of illi signing a contract, after which everyone reported he was signing an extension. Richard cadette he ain’t

Not sure on the French side of the pond why they are putting out these stories but I guess they will re run their agenda until Iliman's ink is on the page. Agreed verbally just needs signing in England. United relaxed about it now, focus on Portugal. 3 year deal. (Obviously silly money can change everything). Portugal probably adds to the bond with the players, club and gets him away from contracts, OM for a few days but also slows down the whole process of the paperwork we want to get sorted.

The year is 2023. Any legal documentation process still thinks it's 1823.

I guess they don't have computers or pens in Portugal, in fairness to all legal documentation.

Probably no teachers or civil servants to witness the signatures either.

It's a low bar though, isn't it - the 2 we've had since I started posting here involved one being cryptic and the other calling everyone a cunt

That being said I do appreciate them being upfront and straightforward about what they know

This we can all agree on. Unbelievably, even with some of the characters on this forum, there is not one person that can pick at Illi's skillset or attitude.

The reasons why he is the very best that we've had and is going to the very top are:

Pace
Strength
Stamina
Postioning
Running with the ball
Great decision making
Tracking back
Harrasing players
Attitude on the pitch
Fan engagement
Goal celebrations :) (not Rashford like)

(feel free to add more)

The players that possess all of the above are few and far between. They tend to get snapped up by the top top clubs and not clubs like OM. OM is for retiring at Illi 👍
