I maintain that we can’t compete with 95% of PL teams financially, so we have to be much more resourceful. Premier League teams with £100m+ budgets are possibly overlooking gems in less fashionable leagues. Anel is a clear example of a smart recruitment strategy at its best. It won’t always work of course, but given our situation I think it’s a very sensible approach.
