23/24 season kit thread

After last years proper looking shirt with stripes on the sleeve it was to be expected our commercial and design team would revert back to plain sleeves. Thankfully they haven't gone back to plain backs which is the one saving grace of this seasons effort. Black socks again. White would have been better but we haven't had them for a few years.

The only unique aspect of the kit is the colour of the goalkeeper kit. Its red and white stripes front and back albeit very thick ones so it passes the test. Hopefully the design team will do better with the away kit and produce a yellow and red combination.

Couldn't agree more!

For me it's all about:

Embodying the spirit of resilience and progress, the ‘Steel City, Rising’ campaign perfectly aligns Sheffield United's journey to the Premier League with the city's transformation. It celebrates the fusion of tradition and modernity, emphasising the club's determination to reach new heights while embracing Sheffield's evolving identity.

The shit-stains on my new 23/24 away shorts proudly showcase Sheffield's status as a down to earth northern working class city, not afraid to portray itself with unflinching honesty

The yellowy tinges on the diahorrea marks offer a subtle nod to the city's many wonderful Indian restaurants that make Sheffield a culinary hub and a bastion of modern Yorkshire culture.

It's oreyt to be fair, collar's a bit meh, but overall not bad at all, glad to see stripes on the back.

Now, weerz away kit thread?

Set of moaning fuckers, it's a red and white kit with our badge on it, get a grip!
..ah but you haven’t taken into account the great write up, which identifies the complex nature of shirt design !!
To me it’s a shirt, but I am supposed to think otherwise !!😳

I hated last seasons shirt when first released and only bought it when they announced a "limited amount" of long-sleeved versions in stock.... they weren't limited as a full truckload turned up about a week later.

Anyway, as the season went on, it grew on me.

This one though, I love it straight away. It's very clean. No faffing about.

Also - the GK top looks like it's got grey stripes.

Stripes too wide and that Borbokis shirt as well as the diamond remain two of the shirts that I didn’t buy.

It’s not horrific just not stripey enough for me.the Adidas one with the wider stripes was almost perfect

It looks very cheap from the pics, not that fitted for athletic footballers

This is something the club really need to wise up to and get the kit released ASAP before half the fan base order from there instead. They surely know about DH gate! I bought a promotion shirt from there as couldn't get a real one but won't be buying this seasons kit from anywhere but the Blades shop.

Given the new in-store bucket hats range, I doubt we have another black kit. Unless maybe a goalkeeper kit (?) An updated version of this for an away kit, well hello...
