Don’t we need a home produced player in the squad under the prem rules obviously that was Billy and then Ramsdale last time round this time it’s going to have to either be Jebbo or RND.

I think its homegrown players, as in British. In which case we're probably the most homegrown team in the league

For some reason I though teams had to have one player that came through their academy but it seems not.

No, they just have have been with an English or Welsh team/academy for 3 years before 21. Not even English. Players like Emi Martinez & Pogba qualify

just been subbed off. I was pessimistic, then excited and now after watching that I would say stay clear.

While i think we could spend 5million, I can't see us doing it on a relatively unknown from the Swedish league, i suspect most of incoming will be frees and the majority of our budget will go on wages

If £5m was high risk, I could agree with you, but it's not that much of any money these days, these sorts of high potential reward signings are just the sort that we need to be making, rather than just going low risk zero upside spend on wages incoming players

Thats interesting
What leads you to think that ?
I thought he was supposed to be a strong creative outlet within that team or for that league. Didn’t see any real quality in his play. Actually thought a couple of other players stood out much more than him. Had the ball a couple of times and didn’t amount to anything bar 1 shot from memory. Couple of heavy touches and a few times where he held onto the ball and tried to take his man on but without being able to create an opening.

Maybe a bad game to judge him on but i wouldn’t be banking on him even starting for us based on that.

Edit: just to add to that (i know it’s only 1 game) i feel that jebbo/ousala are just as good if not better. 👀

For most teams i agree, but currently with us having limited resources, as well as (currently) Illy, Jebbison and Osula I think its too much of a gamble. If one of those three were to leave I think this lad wil be the replacement

This is the PL not a Sunday pub league.

Jebbison and Osula are nowhere near PL standard.

5m looks a great bit of business and at 20k per week.

agree on osula disagree on jebbison no hes not good enough to start in the premier league but hes certainly good enough to be 4/5th choice striker imo
