6 years after he changed his name to Muhammad Ali!

When I was 8 or 9 I had believed for a long time that Cassius Clay and Muhammad Ali were two different boxers that looked very much like each other!
I was the same with Tony Field and Tony Curtis

V Sunderland (h) in October 1978, the Sunderland player behind Sabella is Tommy Docherty's son, Michael.
I think Sunderland too. I think it's his run through for Finnieston to score.
Click on the photo posted by XH536, and it says at the bottom v Carlisle 1978.🤔

Of course, it is Sunderland. I spotted it straight away also Michael Docherty.

Here's further proof.

Ey, wern't Sabella some player, pity he didn't have a minder on the park like Makay/Bremner to keep him in games when he was being kicked up hill and down dale. As many have said he did disappear in games because of the rough stuff, but given a fair chance he could be sublime.

Also #25930, excellent SB, educating the young 'uns, keeping Blades History to the fore, we all need to know where we come from in order to know where we are going.

Excellent bit of club history, but what fascinated me was the brick structure to the left of the "real" AW.
Not that the young'un wasn't/isn't real but you know what I mean. Don't you?. Commentators nightmare.
I never realised it existed, obviously toilets, and it did before 1966.

Mind it was a rarity for me to go on the Bramall Lane end anyway. Another school day.
