someone posted a couple of weeks ago that the "leaked" shirt doing the rounds was from some concept artist on instagram (so basically same as me and
mattbianco1 posting ours on here) - wouldn't be the first time the knock-off merchants have picked up a concept shirt and started producing it, look at that burberry england shirt from a couple of years ago that everyone went mad over, i'm pretty sure that was from xztals or similar originally.
i personally don't hate that shirt at all, my main gripe is that it's just boring. the whole point when we got errea on board was that we would finally be able to have completely bespoke kits and all we've ended up with is boring red and white stripes with no kind of flair or embellishment - beerschot's home kit had the bear pattern all over last year, even such as hartlepool had the stag in the stripes. that's why personally i think the promotion kit was so much better because it had the roses, it had the gold, it's just something a bit different - all they seem to want to do is safe and classic which is fine on the one hand but it's not worth the money for me. i honestly don't get why people love last years kit so much, it's so basic, the quality was shocking, the fit was pretty poor, the material looks/feels cheap.
i know i'm in the minority but i love when teams do something different and not the same every year - the diamond kit is one of my favourites. look at southampton, they miss more often than not but they try different things, palace another great example.
if the one with the grey stripes is the one then whatever, fair enough, i'll probably buy it anyway knowing me but they could do so much better (i'm also hoping that the seemingly very very very bad quality is down to it being a knock-off but hey, errea, so...)
