Only has 2 things left on his resume. An England major tournament medal ( not gonna happen) and a domestic trophy with The Blades (gonna happen if he signs for free with a huge, huge pay cut) Nailed On😎
England will win the Euros...... even with Southgate

Loads going for England currently. And the competition is as weak as can be - there's no seriously good national team anywhere currently

Pleased for him. We all know where he’s from and can appreciate how hard it might have been to have kept on the straight and narrow (indecent exposure, aside).

It was nice to see the players reflect on what it meant to them. We’re all guilty of forgetting that they’re mainly just from backgrounds similar to our own.

I’d love for us to have Kyle back at the lane, but I can’t really think of a better RWB in the world, so it’s not going to happen yet, if ever.

"my Mum didn't have a pound for the ice cream man"

Kyle, I think every kid in Sheffield heard that one at some point!

I bet every kid in Sheffield didn’t say it after being part of a Champion’s League win though, adrenaline and emotion playing a part….

Talking about ice cream's, when i was a kid my dad sent my brother Dave out to the ice cream van for 3 ice cream cornets for me, him and my sister Mal. When he came back in he only had 2 in his hand. I said to him"Why have you only got 2 when he sent you for 3?". He looked at me and said "Sorry, i dropped your's":)

Won’t be signing for us for a few years so says his Dad, spoke to him the other day and he said no disrespect to Utd but why would he drop down his wages so massively and not play Champ league football for next 2-3 years. But in a few years yes it makes sense..

So when he’s 36+ then

With respect, not up to his Dad.

Why did Didzy just drop to play in League Two, having been one of the top scorers in League One, and capable of performing still in the Championship?

If he really wants to play for us and at a good level, not sure how much point there is at 36. Injuries may take their toll for instance. If we are PL then end of the upcoming season would be his chance IF we can stay up. He may even help us achieve something. Conference League qualification for example?

I agree not up to his Dad but I’m sure they have talked about it and it will be Kyles view also, 150k a week to drop down to say 30k, it’s not happening while he can command that sort of wage, no one is giving that sort of money up regardless if they support us or not. I also agree not much point at 36, if his pace goes at that age I doubt we’d even want to sign him unless we are in the championship.

Didzy comparison is a bit silly.

Not with Southgate in charge he's a fucking coward.

Oh he is, and many more things beside. But he has done a lot right. They have been close 2 or 3 times now and I think the players will have the belief to go one step further. They have seen by now that there is absolutely nothing to stop them

Rice and Bellingham will be a great foundation. I'll be shocked if England don't win something over the course of their careers

It's the players, they've matched the Germans for discipline and professionalism.

They were murdering Italy and Southgate told them to play that second half on the back foot...

He's an absolute arsehole, we would have been better off with allerdyce and not because he's any good either...

Best ever group of English players managed by a full weight..

Course he did

Kyle Walker is more successful than the club he supports. Let that shit sink in.

I don't know Kyle and have no idea what recruitment plans have been discussed but I'm staggered by this recent build up of people suggesting he might come back next season.

So many reasons why logic points to it being a no go.
It might be argued tha football is more a game of emotion than logic.Though that might relate more to gametime🤔👍

On paper I’d agree with you, but something weird happens to England when the pressure is on. Heart says we’ll win something in my lifetime, head says no chance.

What do you find hard to correlate with the Didzy situation?

Relatively speaking, he could earn far more money staying at Derby. But he's favoring less wages to go and play for the club he supports.

It's also, for football reasons an illogical move.

Walker's would also be illogical from a football perspective. But if he wants to come back to United then I doubt he'd want to return when his career is shot. He'd want to return to make an impact.

Not sure if you are familiar with Keanu Reeves. But he gives away a lot of his movie earnings. His point is that he's got enough to live for many lifetimes already. That's probably the case with Kyle Walker too.

Let's see what happens in 12 months anyhow. Maybe he'll be up extending. Dani Alves, before his recent troubles, was still turning out for Barça at 38.

thing is i think kyle will play till hes 37/38 so think he will leave city and go somewhere like villa or west ham on a 2 year contract and only then will he consider us depending where we are at that time however i do believe him when he says he wants to end his career at the lane

I think there's a French shaped hole in your argument but I agree, we look good.

Think it's important we do it next year because once Harry Kane's star starts to fall it will be incredibly difficult. Centre forwards of that ilk rarely come along and there doesn't seem to be anybody waiting in the wings.

I've been saying this for a while. Kyle Walker might love the Blades and still feel some loyalty but he'll be have more love for his family and more loyalty to his own career (and rightly so).

He'll come back one day but it won't be whilst his earning potential outstrips anything we can offer by 3 or 4 fold.
He belongs in teams that are competing for silverware. In the last couple of years he's stood out in England and Man City teams reaching semis and winning finals. It's dreamland to think he'll give all of that up to come and struggle for survival in a Blades team.

With the way football is going, he might even overlook the Blades when he reaches 35 if a Saudi outfit sticks 10s of millions on the table...

In regards to Keanu it’s probably not the case with Kyle, in fact it most certainly is not 😂… but your not happy with his Dads take on so you go with your own thoughts mate. He’s going to drop 100k a week and Champions league football, whether that’s with City or another European club all to play for us 👍

Didzy was probably offered maybe 3-4k at Derby, he’s probably on 2k at County also County gave him a 2 year deal and most likely the promise of a coaching role at the end of it, good deal for him. Bit different from playing for Europes elite and ditching that and 100k+.
