Oh yes , everybody silently agrees wi me , ffs
But the stats illustrate that. A strong minority have thrown their toys, however many others get the overall sentiment of my original post. Some of the leavers are pathetic. No respect, no moral compass, no backbone.

Me leaving on 83 minutes when already 3-0 down was the difference between getting the 20:12 back to Chester or missing that and having to take a £50 taxi from Crewe to Chester after already spending £140 on my fare.

Sorry if I’ve upset you dad.

Pisspoor. You should have done what that other bloke wanted you to do.

Travelling back to Manchester. I’ll try and respond to some of the dummy spitters tomorrow.

Haters aside, many others (most silently) have acknowledged the original post.
Haters. Not only are you a complete joke you are a disciple of social media shallow crap. Hater>> Oh boo hoo. Tell me where on this doll the nasty words hurt your mangina. Best thing you can do is step out of your mums bedsit and attempt to live in the real world. You won't last 1 minute petal.

Ok Frank , you win , youve got everyones attention, shame youre gettin dafter . Only ‘many others get it ‘ now . Compass and backbone lacking in us , sorry

What's the Party line on leaving your seat before the half-time whistle?
If i'm going to be ridiculed for leaving, i'll stay in my seat until the troops have left the battlefield.
I apologise in advance to the old couple, both in their 90s, who sit in front of me for urinating on them.

Must admit one thing did piss me off ,I had a quick peak on shoutbox to see who missed our early chance, as it was the other end ,and all I saw were people saying how embarrassing it was with so many empty seats, without a hint of irony.
There were swathes of empty seats all over the place. The attendance was a tad shy of 70k. What does that matter on any level? People who want/can afford to go do. That's it.

That’s true though. I love that it’s rattled your cage.
London , you should know when your cage has been rattled , it must be like being savaged by a dead sheep ( eh Dennis?) will you be ok ?

People that pay for events such as this have a choice of when to leave based on personal circumstances and I fully respect that. Where were you on Sat 11/2 after our victory at Bramall Lane? Not at The Old Picture Palace at Heeley with McCall(photo), Hecky and Lester. Plastic fan from Manchester IMO. School tomorrow for you I reckon. Not welcome on this forum either.......I like fishing too!

So why be embarrassed ?

Sorry to put it this way, but that’s utter bollocks….

….and you’re nowt but a WUM

Helen the Bell, passed away in 2005.

When I first saw her in BLUT in 1972, she scared me a bit!

Thanks for this. I was a student in Manchester in the late 80s and sometimes I'd pop along to watch man city on the Kippax when Mel Machin was in charge. I remember hearing that bell and thinking what was going on!

Show a bit of respect and class and stay to the end to acknowledge the boys’ efforts along with Hecky and the coaches.

Leaving early is a proper c***s trick. If I was in charge I’d deduct ‘loyalty’ points off the lot of you. We’ve all had the privilege of going to Wembley today. The very least the players, staff and all the fans deserve is to be United and applaud everyone for their fantastic efforts.

Support isn’t defined by putting your hand in your pocket, or bigging yourself up by posting on social media. It’s about staying together through thick and thin to the very end and showing humility.
I myself stayed to the end but who are you to say what anyone should or shouldn't do, if you've payed your money your entitled to do what you like.

I can't understand people leaving early. What if we'd scored 4 in injury time. You'd never be able to forgive yourselves.

Quite a few missed our equaliser at Wrexham. 4 infront of me left which meant I had a clear view of the goal.

Will you be staying until the death on Wednesday then bud, win, loyse or draw?

Yes, I always do but acknowledge that’s a personal choice.

My stance on Wembley was that given how well the players and coaches had done to get to an FA Cup semi they deserved to be applauded after the game.

I thought they’d earned that respect having given us some great memories this season.

I stayed and clapped the lads out, but also know people that left, and for good reason too!
Some of the coach drivers had to leave due to their hours, unfortunately ours was one, and she had to drive 20mins over and then had to wait for another driver to come out to drive the coach back to the depot.
Before slagging off your own, it might be worth taking a minute to think, not everything is as black and white as you think.
I totally understand families leaving early, I would if I had my daughter with me, to miss all the bellends that think they're 10 men as soon as a beer touches their lips.
I understand why older folk leave early, for the same reasons.
I understand that some want to leave to get ahead of the traffic best they can.
I understand every side, and the reasons people have, and I don't make a massive deal out of it, why, well, because its fuck all to do with me, thats why, and do I let it bother me...,not in the slightest, because it makes no difference what I think or don't, because people are people, the brilliant thing about us, is were all different, and nothing will ever change that.
So relax, enjoy your own day the best way you see fit, and don't slag folk off because they're different to you, qt the end of the day, theyve paid their money, theyve had their day, and theyve decided, for them, its come to the time to start winding it up.
People are creatures of habit, leave them to there own devices and enjoy your own time👍

Litwsoot mekin a reyt cunt o his sen ere if ur that hard u womble u shudda stoped people from leavjn but neow ur a coward along we pomptit cant sqwabble pal

I always stay to the end home or away but one exception was the Huddersfield play off final.

After a ridiculous queue and time taken to get back to Watford on the train after the Burnley final, no way was I doing that again, especially after a nightmare journey down getting to Wembley 10 mins before kick off and then sitting through baking sun for 2.5 hours with a 6 year old.

As soon as I saw Simmo's penalty rising over the bar we were heading for the exit.
Good job you didn’t follow that ball, you’d never have got home….

Thanks, I’m glad you’re so understanding, but you can’t understand my view?

I appreciate the coach driver situation is out of people’s hands, but that seems odd. Would everyone have been so understanding had the game gone to extra time or even penalties? The situation is the same, regardless of who we were playing?

‘Families left early because they didn’t want to encounter bellends at full-time’. Ok… but bellends are bellends at any time, they don’t just wait until the final whistle. And as we’ve seen on another thread, a minority got pissed up and coked up beforehand. Hopefully they left families well alone. I didn’t see any trouble and it appeared most families had a great day out. So again, the notion that they had to leave early because of the reasons you highlighted doesn’t really wash with me.

At the end of the day, they’ve decided to leave early, as is their right yes, but I think it would have been nice to teach the kids to clap the lads off. That’s just how I’m wired up as a father of three and they get that. But each to their own, and you’ll understand that I’m sure.

I had a great day out and respect every Blade who put their hand in their pocket. I also understand why those who chose not to go - it’s ridiculously expensive.

The principle of my argument centred on an investment of people’s time. Those lads and coaches have done us proud and I thought they warranted a decent send off. A gesture from us back to them. The majority did, a minority didn’t.

Many of the latter think their time is more important. They’ll do what they want, when they want, and some of their perceived challenges only manifest 10 minutes before the final whistle on a day that they’ve already committed hours too. So what’s another 15 mins?

Sure, they’re entitled to do what they want, but they’ll apply those same principles to many other aspects of their lives. They aren’t for me, I want to be with those who showed their appreciation to the boys at the end.

Do you understand that?
