I like this lad. Driven to distraction by Beans & trusty sidekick Roygbiv failing to pronounce his name in the same way from one sentence to another, I checked with three young (early 30s; young from where I’m standing) Bosniak colleagues; they confirmed that it’s pronounced Arm-Ed-Hodge-Itch. Judge of my surprise when they turned up at my office earlier this month proudly bearing an SUFC shirt with Anel’s name on the back; a gift, for me!
I’m an old fella and this is the first shirt I’ve ever had with a player’s name on it and I couldn’t be more delighted. I like this lad.

Made a huge, huge difference in our defensive solidity, has become an absolute rock at the back and if that's not enough he is an amazing, maurading attacking threat.

What a great signing.

Pray that we do get promoted this season or it will be bye bye Anel.

He was class yesterday. Real shame the header didn’t rattle in off the bar would have capped off his performance brilliantly.

He looked unplayable for the first part of the season and then I thought his form tailed off massively and he looked clumsy and a bit of a bomb scare at times but he’s kicked on again recently and was back to his best again yesterday.

I reckon he moves to Tottenham at some point for big money. They seemed impressed when we played them in the cup and why wouldn’t they be was class then too. Quite a few pundits seem to really big him up too. Been a great investment so far. If we go up then he’s a 20m player… bought for 3m - well the bit of it we’ve even paid.
