If/ when we go up should we try to purchase these 2?? If so how much

I'm going

Mcatee £20-25m

Doyle £15_20m

I wouldn’t pay anymore than 12m for Doyle and 17m for mcatee.

I think we will buy both, neither will make it into the city team
How much is Ndiaye worth for in your opinion?

McAtee won’t be sold. They’ve groomed him since he could kick a ball. Good enough to play top 4 once he gets more experience in the Prem. The small time he’s played for us he’s completely adapted his game in the space of 2 months. Only special players do that.

Doyle isn’t good enough for City. We could get him minimum 20 mill with a buy back fee.

I can't see McAtee being sold by City this summer given we're his first loan spell in professional football and he's done well. I reckon we'd get him back on loan next season and buy Doyle for £15mil - £20mil. Get Walker in as well whilst we're at it.

I think we are perfectly placed to get both on loan. But I'd don't see us signing either of them. I think City still see McAtee as one for the future and a season in the Prem increases Doyle's value in the shop window.

If City buy Bellingham, they may well want to sell both of them.

And we can’t loan more than one player from any PL team…so we’ll have to buy both of them to be able to loan Kyle 😂

We can't loan two players from the same team, unfortunately.

An ideal situation would be £15m for Doyle with a buyback clause, and another loan for Mcatee. He's not ready for the Man City squad yet, but a year playing for a familiar team in the Premier League will do him wonders.

Also get Kyle Walker in while we're at it.

I'd love us to get Doyle who I think would be attainable if we go up. McAtee I think won't be allowed to go by City yet. Maybe get McAtee in loan. I'd also like the lad from Forest who nearly signed for Blackburn on deadline day.

Bang on, not a prayer of getting McAtee but I'd hope we could get Doyle for £15m. And if t'owd Pep wanted to toughen up McAtee a bit in the lower half of the Prem, we could have him on loan then.

Doyle bleeds Man City, its in his veins.

I doubt he would agree to leave on a permanent until he has exercised every possible avenue of cracking the first team.

Neither will get anywhere close to Man City squad ever! (E.g Foden is a year older than Mcatee and can’t even get a start!)

But as they’re from big clubs you’re right it’ll be inflated at around 15-20 for each probably. Reasonable investments and a fee around that would see everyone be happy.

I see no reason for man city keeping them around, likewise they are financially strong enough that they don’t need to sell! So who knows…

Unfortunately that scenario is impossible.
In the PL the loan rule is you can't loan 2 players from the same club.

Man City will want to keep McAtee as an option, don't think he'll reach Man City level but he does show odd glimpses of that level.
They will want to loan him out to a PL where he sees plenty of game time. So think we have a realistic chance of loaning McAtee, our only rival is possibly Burnley, you can imagine if Kompany wants McAtee then they might prefer him to go there.

Doyle is the more consistent player and stands a good chance to become a decent/ average PL standard player.
However that level isn't good enough for Man City, so wouldn't be a surprise if they allow him to be sold.
Think 15 to 20 million is do able, with maybe a buy back clause.

if either of these boys are available for transfer at the prices quoted above then every team in the premier league placed 7 to 17 will be ahead of us in the queue to sign them.

imh, best case scenario is we get one of them on loan next season, personally i would go for doyle.

Doyle for 10 would be very good business. Cannot see City wanting to release McAtee but they could be open to extending a loan for another season

Only 1 loan from another PL club allowed

I've heard Pep talk about Mcatee for years.. maybe a loan back and sign Doyle.. be or moon we that
