I'd be tempted to play 5:2:3 actually. Park Norwood and Berge in front of the defence and play 3 up top (McBurnie, Ndiaye and Osula/Jebbo) try and catch them with direct balls. I don't see much benefit in trying to play through midfield.

There is absolutely definitely no evidence of the use of PEDs in football. None. Especially in the case of Operacion Puerto which only uncovered evidence of doping in cycling and definitely not in Spanish football.

And there are very good, if a bit unclear , reasons that the judge in the Operacion Puerto case ordered the destruction of evidence.

Many elite level sports suffer from abuse of PEDs, thankfully football is definitely not one of them.

I’m on my way home after being at the game with some free corporates.
Two very good technical teams, City pressed BM in to errors in the 2nd half which they scored from.
I was hoping for a result that meant City would have to compete more in the second leg but unfortunately 3-0 should be enough without too much effort.
Still, I’ve got my ticket for Wembley & after speaking to some of them they think we have a chance, hopefully we face a much different City team.

That’s a good shout and an approach which pommpey and me suggested on another thread .

I would play a 3 - 5 - 1 - 1 formation and it’s a great shame that Doyle and McAtee cannot play as both would have been included in my preferred line up .

Another drawback to team selection is the fact that Bogle’s form has fallen off a cliff and this , coupled with the absence of the greatly missed RND and to a lesser extent little Ben , leaves us with very limited options .

Given all those limitations , I don’t envy Hecky’s job in picking a team and formation which might give us at least a chance of not being humiliated , but my best shot would be ……
