Eh? I really don't think he said anything disrespectful or owt to anyone, and with (at least) 2 first teamers currently fasting, it's probably a fair comment that it's a good effort, let alone in that sun. Really no need mate.
Yawn. More concerned with Easter egg intake. Not interested in every sodding thing that isn't part of our culture.

Ah, excellent! Yes I'm about half a mile down the road from there. Not sure I've tried Golden Crown though, any good??
Mrs Trig’s son has lived in Prestwich all his life and likes his food, Golden Crown is his go to Chinese, so it’s become ours, it’s fine.

I’d have settled for fish and chips from Chips@No8 on Clifton Rd, Mrs Trig went there first when she was a girl, that was before there was a muriel of Mark E Smith on the wall 🙂

Chips@No8 is awesome 👌. I've been here about 8 years and love it, lots going on and barely need to go into Manchester.

Did notice illy taking on fluids and energy gel in the Wigan game .

Amazing. Let us know when its Eid and Passover and every other irrelevence to SUFC in the season.

The op mentioned specifically that Ndiaye is fasting for Ramadan, how is that irrelevant to sufc? It’s our best player.

embarrassing lack of awareness about someone other than yourself

Can make the time back at other times of the year depending on certain situations. Some women forego Ramadan if they are on their period, to make it back at another time

Iirc it's forbidden to fast during menstruation. So looking at the fast food family, dad may be diabetic, mums time of the month and the kids too young.

Can also donate an amount to feed someone if not observing a fast for what ever reason.

Thankfully many/most people arent intimidated by your utter garbage bullying woke crap views.
I don’t mean to intimidate anyone, and I apologise if that’s how it came across.

That said: this is the world as it is now, feel free to ignore it and carry on.

Good post mate.
You live your life your way and I'll continue to live my life mine.
Basaically tend my garden if you get that which I think you do.

Of course you're right. That is, if you ignore the fact we're a multicultural country which means Eid/Ramadan ARE part of our culture. Which I imagine you must absolutely hate.

There are exceptions to fasting. It's not obligatory for every person in 'muslim garb' to adhere to.

On a positive note I’ve learnt something as I never knew Tim Hortons did burgers.

Thinking on they could have been Canadian as they absolutely bloody love Timmy Hortons and no one knows why!

Having tried Tim Hortons im also stumped.

Wonder whether because of the prevalence of American brands there, the Canucks cling onto Timmys as it’s a bit of an exception?

Bringing it back on track, I’d have Illiman down as a double shot Cortado in Bragazzis type man. Le Monde tucked under one arm, pack of Gauloises poking out of his top pocket. 😍

Let’s remember today “Christ has Risen”
Got stuck in traffic in Georgetown, Guyana this morning whilst the Jesus parade went through chanting about Jesus has risen…

The ambulance with its blue lights flashing had to wait like everyone else

It should be in some way concerning that we’re seeing the religion creep into football here like this now with the breaks and everything, no doubt this will have something to do with the influx of Middle East owners putting pressure higher up. Expect it to step up a gear when the Qataris finally get a slice in the PL

Played a lot of cricket as the only non Muslim in the team and whilst I'm not religious at all I've got to admire what they do in Ramadan the last few seasons have had murderously hot days and they don't take a drop to drink but still manage to put in performances, fair play to them I don't think I'd manage it!
